I used to like getting a few friends together and playing a little one day tourney with stats kept and all. BAD AI for CPU. Colts VS Pats. less than a minute to play CPU down by 7, and they do not do an onside kick??? That's just terrible. Profiles?? Can u not create multiple profiles for friends you play with often? Cant find a place to choose which profile is used with which team during off line play. RB's getting bogged down immediately following a hand off. Have you noticed that sometimes your RB just doesnt move forward? No uniform preview in selection screen. Why did they take out the front office stuff? setting prices, coaches salaries, available coaches...etc.. Why cant we change the controls? At least in NCAA u can change speed burst on Offense to the 'X' button. Stiff arm does not switch the hand of the ball carrier. O-Line protection for CPU is phenominal. I dont get the chance to speak live with a lot of people who play this game. I'm usually sitting here complaining about these things to myself. I'm glad to hear that all the gamers are having the same reaction to things I see and dislike. Why in the world did EA take out the on field officials? Why do we get an injury summary immediately after the player is hurt? It used to make it much more interesting when you had to wait a few plays or even a full quarter to find out the injury status of a player. Why cant we get the "chain gang" out on close first downs? Those are just a few of my complaints. It seems like EA is too concerned with adding things in the game, rather than keeping things that are really "in the game". I'm getting turned off by their tag: "if it's in the game, it's in the game." That couldnt be farther from the truth the last few years. Stop putting in all the silly colorful extras, and start improving on the small details that are actual in a real NFL game. I'd like to see my head coach ranting and raving on the sidelines at some point too. Ok so here's a few more complaints. Too much celebration. Why is Marvin Harrison jumping all around on a first down catch?....i've never seen an emotion from him in a game...rediculous. Sideline players look terrible. When you get a camera angle from the back of them, their names are not on their jerseys...just dumb. Where's the squib kick? No matter what they do, I'll never stop playing Madden, it's in my blood now...20 yrs running. But they need to start concentrating on the important things and leave the "bells and whistles" alone.
