Madden 09 Coverage Wrap-Up and Your Impressions

So pasta, you said you couldn’t get the importing of fantasy football to work. What about the draft experience feature that you could use for your fantasy league’s draft (video’s of players etc.). Is that feature available?

Haven’t picked mine up yet but I got it for $11….so no rush….but from seeing it played in the store I was really impressed with the look of it and how smooth it ran. I know people hated the radio announcer guy (it was a cool idea) but he did have way may enthusiam than Todd Hammonds….like…wtf?? He’s Mr. Roboto when it comes to the game…get rid of him or give his ass some Red Bull…I mean come on…it’s FOOTBALL…not Golf (even though Ive heard Golf announcers with more vigor) we need a patch to replace him. Collinsworth is solid. Best Madden yet….but still a good ways to climb

I can respect your opinion, but just out of plain curiosity. What are you comparing the graphics to? I can honestly understand it being really hard, but I cant understand the bad graphics opinion you had. By the way I’m only old enough to really have been playing Madden now 9 years, Im not a freak or a nerd, so just respectfully answer my question.

Love the game so far but my one gripe is how is it possible for DTackle Kris Jenkins to drop back in coverage and pick off my friend like hes Champ Bailey….I even posted it up on EA sports world for people to view this BS

Online was lag free and flawless from my expierence, but can anyone tell me how to turn off those icons under the players that tell you to sprint and stuff?, its freaking annyoing

adjust your setting from advanced to hardcore

I’ve had the game game for a week now and don’t understand some of the bashing this game is getting! I’d give it a solid 9/10. Quick subs to random online weather effects to single kick returning to FG nets to TD celebrations to HitStick rumbling to TD breakaways…….are you guys playing the same game as me ??? Online has been much better in the last day or so, people need to relax.

Thanks, and I totally agree with. I think the people that are complaing probably are awful at madden and are the same ones that quit like bitches when I whoop that ass lol

Pat, you’re an angry little fella, aren’t you?! I have to disagree with you though, I think the game is leaps and bounds above the past installments. I have been playing for years and this is, by far, the best looking and fun to play football game I’ve owned…on par with 2k5.

Not liking it is one thing, but saying the graphics are horrible makes you sound like a moron. We can all see with our own eyes that the graphics are a huge advance from the days of PS2 or nintendo…not to mention the past next gen versions. The animations are fantastic and will probably be even better in the next installment.

The gameplay is more difficult, but that is great! It’s finally a truer game with more realistic scores. Maybe you’re more about arcade style play…for that i say buy a wii or lego batman when it comes out.

Bryan, I think you may be hitting a button after the play is done. I was doing that as well and having the same problem(I was hitting the A button on the 360). Let it play out without hitting any buttons.

I have had my copy freeze on me one time also.

Is anyone else having trouble with kicking? A lot of times it will go all the way up, and then all the way down with no power.

I was good at kicking in 08, and it’s pissing me off that I can’t do it in 09. Any tips would be GREATLY appreciated!!

madden is definately overrated it just is getting straight up boring becasue its the same thing every year they basically maxed out how good they can make the game and now their just doing little things to make it look a little better the point is madden is not like nba it doesn’t get totally better and different each year it just looks passible and did not blow me away this year thats the bottom line
