First EASHL Night

While the structure of the EASHL allows for the opportunity to play with club-mates at any time, I thought it would be a good idea to put together a time for a larger number of players to meet up. Potentially several games for the Pasta Padre club could be played simultaneously if there are more than just the handful that can get into one game.
The first organized effort will be Tuesday night at 6PT/9ET with plans to play at least a few games. I’ll probably look to set up the next one for Friday night. Just head into the dressing room and games will commence from there. Continue to leave your gamertags if you would like to be a part of the club. I have a few more to send out later today plus any requests that come in. Remember you have to have played the game for the invite to be sent and then you accept it by entering the player HUB. Currently 37/50 slots are taken.

Yea I’m likin it but I’m not buying into the game… if it’s one thing I’ve learned from countless EA sports games is that EA knows how to make great teaser trailers and hype up games… still going with 2k this year but I’m deff downloading lives demo whenever it hits the playstation store

I’ve had no problems getting games started. However the player stats still arent being tracked.

on my team player stats are being tracked for players with gamertags starting with A-D only (alphabetically, the first 10 people on our team)

as for finding games, if you are playing during a time when the server is loaded (9-11 EDT) it does seem to be hard to start an EASHL game… even creating an OTP Club Rules session has problems, but you can spam the A button and eventually it will let you create a session.

yea i traded GTA4 in 2 weeks after it came out (beat it and sold it for $50)… MGS4 was a rental for me… but once OCT hits its Socom and Nba 2k9, when 2k comes out we should get some guys from this site and run the tables on the ps3

Had some trouble with a few gamertags, telling me that it couldn’t find a player for that gamertag. Otherwise I’ve sent out invites to I think everyone who asked for one.

That was a fun game pasta. I was the other D-man in the first game. I got dropped from the second game when we had 5 players.
I realized my player size was way too small for a defenseman, 5′8″ 167, so I switched to a wing in the next game and scored a goal, but we lost 2-1.

Yea loads of fun last night. I too played like 3 games with a defense d man at wing before I realized that it mattered. Based on lack of scoring maybe we should load up on some sniper’s or danglers. Also Did anyone else have any issues with talking to people. for some reason in two games it randomly muted all my teammates and I couldnt talk to anybody

I’ve never been able to talk to anyone in OTP after we get past the team/position selection screen. last night, i was able to talk to pasta in our club game while we were playing. that’s the only time i had any communication in-game online.
i changed my position to LW dangler, 5′8 is too small for a D-man. It seems to matter, I was moving too fast as a D, and would drift out of the play. That didn’t happen to me as a D in OTP mode with real NHL players, so I guess my size in Be A Pro isn’t really suited for a D.
