Madden and NFL Head Coach 09 Patch Updates

can I get the patch if I am not attached to the internet with my ps3. Could I log on somewhere with my computer and download to a cd and install manually into my ps3. I have a wireless router but my vonyage phone does not work if i am on with my ps3. not sure how to fix that also.

what I meant was that they would use components, i know they cant use the whole thing because they went all out with the visuals (not how people look obviously), but if they took out all the things like the coaches dialouge, the screenshots of all the stadiums, all the camera angles, and other stuff I would hope there would be more than enough room for most of those things in the game...
I just want a franchise thats interactive, and doesnt mean I sim every week and go to the offseason only to sign 1 player and draft 7 nobodies that either will never make a team or are already elite players...
they just need to get those ideas in madden because madden is flat out bad in franchise mode..

pasta do you have an update as to what the franchise progressio/regression actually entails? and is it year by year? 3 times a season?

In the sense of combining games its not possible. Head Coach was so deep that it pretty much filled up the disc. Madden does the same. There just isn’t the space to incorporate one into the other.

But in terms of seeing some elements from Head Coach make their way to Madden’s franchise mode I’d say that is very likely to happen for next year. Some aspects of franchise will seem familiar if you played Head Coach. So it will be improved thanks to that."

Thats a full DVD. But there is plenty of space left on Blu-ray. It could work for PS3 that way and maybe as a double DVD with a large install or downloadable option for 360. Or do you think that will never happen?

A combination of the two would be the ultimate football game. If they could swing that I would definitely get it even if I had to pay the price of two games.

If the games are released separately again with minor tweaks and new rosters I seriously doubt that I'll buy either of them next year.

hey i just woke up and went to play madden and the ps3 update 2.43 was there and then i wen tto start up madden and wasnt propmtd to download the patch and whne i go to log in online to beat fake cowboy fans with the rams it says this format isnt compatable wiht online please download patch how do i get patch when im not promptd?

Pasta this a great site, I think most of us know that you are not responsible for the actions of EA, Microsoft, or Sony. I appreciate you giving us updates as you get them and we do know that that is subject to change.

update, the patches arent out yet on 360 yet, when somebody receives them please update us

I for one appreciate all the info here on ur site been here for 1 1/2 years.. I might disagree with some stuff but love all the coverage u give.

Depends to what extent you mean.

How are patches downloaded? I have a PS3...Do I just connect to PSN while Madden is inserted?

I managed to get Colt Brennan to an 87 OVR after 3 seasons :)

I have a question on the Franchise Pasta. Why doesn't it show pro bowls for players like Tatupu of the seasons played in the NFL. Since he's gone to 3 so far it should of course say 3 when I start the Franchise but since Madden 07 they've left that blank for everyone. Also I'm curious of about when you edit a player why does it remove their draft status?

Pasta will most likely post a thread sayin that the patch is here. On 360 I dunno if u have to have XBOX live or wht I have PS3 and as soon as I load up the game it will tell me there is an update for it.
