y argue about ratings…the only way we have something to talk about it is if the game makes the people with high rankings unstoppable and unguardable..If it gives realistic gameplay and AI, the best man will always win…I been playin with The Grizzlies since they came to Memphis so I know first hand…

I’m sorry, but T-Mac should be a 95 in my opinion. I think the 94 for Carmelo is great, but T-Mac should be a 95. He led the Rockets on a 22 Game Win streak. Yes, he is not as great of a player as he was in Orlando, but he is still a huge offensive threat to any team. And as far as using youtube for checking T-Mac vs Carmelo….

No matter what they rated Tmac i’ma still whoop niggas asses with this nigga TMAC, Ray Allen a 89? NBA 2k9 must not have seen Ray Allen during the finals, yeah Ray Allen struggled during the playoffs but He stepped up when it really counts. C’mon 7 three pointers in a NBA finals? tied for most 3 pointers made in a finals nba game in history??? Might I add he Broke Record with the most 3 pointers made in a whole final serious? Ray Allen a.k.a Mr. Almost MVP? C’mon he should get atleast a 93 and thats atleast!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And besides he was playin with two other NBA future hall of famers so f course his points are gonna go down. but his vaule to the team is very high therefore he should have been a higher rating than a 89. thats disrespectful to a nba hall of famer. Chris Paul Deserves the ratings he got he really proved to be the nuber 1 point guard in the leauge. As much as i’m not a big fan of Kobe I can’t deny he is the best player in the leauge hands down. Lebron 99 is debateable but don’t get me wrong he is Sick too. maybe a 98 rating. he just need to be a consistent outside 3 point shooter. And I pray that they give Rajon Rondo the ratings he really deserve because they really shitted on him on NBA 2k8, After watching Rajon Rond throughout the season he is really underrated and has allot of upside and allot of potential to be one of the best point guards in the leauge. his rating should be atleast a 84 or 85. not no fukin 72. And back to the Man of the Hour Tmac. he deserve a higher rating but regardless i’ma still shit on niggas with Tmac. Tmac my favorite player in the leauge. and imagine what his rockets team will look like this season since they picked up Ron Artest. Rockets is defiently gonna go far this year and only a matter of time before they win it all under Tmac.

Rondo got an 83.
The Kings suck. Big time.
Kevin Martin got a 86. That’s about right.
I love how Ramon Sessions got a 78 based on a couple good games, while Beno contributes consistently all season yet settles for a 76. Stupid.
John Salmons is more like an 84 and not a 75 when he starts…which he will this season.
Bobby Jackson (77) is too high. Our rookies Thompson and Greene (74 & 74) are too low.
Bah.

T-Mac is the same player that he was in Orlando. He just has a better team around him. T-Mac has taken 30 shots in a games in like 5 years. The Rockets don’t need T-Mac to be the primary ball handler down the stretch, he’s not asked to guard the best player on the opposing team, he not the primary option in the post. The offense doesn’t run through Tracy McGrady and never has seen he’s been a member of the Rockets. He just lets the game come to him. T-Mac still has the ability to do those things.
Carmelo on the other hand is the the primary post up option and number one scorer. Carmelo isn’t a better ball handler than McGrady and isn’t a better shooter. Carmelo is very good at stand still jump shoots, but McGrady is a better shooter off the dribble and a better play maker. Vladimir Radmanovic for the Lakers shut him down in the playoffs. How could he be better than McGrady. T-Mac puts up MVP stats against AK-47.

Jesus Christ fix your fucking grammar and spelling, your a fucking disgrace to the human race. Seriously why the fuck do people type like this? Sometimes you can't even understand it at all "Yo B dat shiz is ghey mane Da LbJ iz liek betta den nKobe Yanno?" Fucking pathetic. I can't believe I am growing up in the same generation as people like this…

Kobe Bryant: 99 (I think 98, but a 99 is tolerable)
Lebron James: 97 (not a 99 yet, give him 2-3 more years)
Dwanye Wade: 96
Kevin Garnett: 96 (he may not look it, but he is 32, he's at the end of his prime but still a beast)
Dwight Howard: 95
Paul Pierce: 95 (when he gets hot he can still score at will, and he's still a 40 point threat. His skills are still off the chart but starting to lessen slightly)
Gilbert Arenas: 95
Chris Paul: 94 (no way is he a 99 no matter how good hes doing, hes too young to have reached his peak)
Tim Duncan: 94 (only 2 yrs ago I'd have said he was a 97, but like everyone his abilities diminish with age)
Dirk Nowitzki: 93
Allen Iverson: 93 (he's 32, still great but at that age his game is starting to diminish as everyone's game does with age)
Tracy McGrady: 92 (also not getting any younger, even hes admitted he's starting to lose his explosiveness)
Ray Allen: 92 (still got his pinpoint shooting, but his age is catching up with him)
Vince Carter: 91 (getting older, and unfortunately even Vince admits he didn't always give 100%)
These are more accurate, MUCH more accurate. I can deal with Kobe being a 99 so I left him, but Pierce definitely deserved a higher rating, and they did overrate KG by a few points (he is still incredible). Pierce is really just an underrated player all around. So he doesn't have 20 career 50 point games (hes got 20 career 40 point games though), hes never scored 60, hes never averaged 30+ points in a season… His prolific scoring consistency is more valuable then anything else. Plus he is just as good as ANYONE in late game situations. Yep, that's right, when there's 10 seconds to go and your teams down by 1, Paul Pierce is just as good of an option as Kobe Bryant is (not saying Pierce is as good as Bryant overall, but in this category he is). Pierce's ability to score when he wants to is incredible. He is older now but 3-4 seasons ago, in his prime, he could score at will, something only the greatest of the great can do. Not to mention when it was crunch time in the finals last year, Pierce stepped up his game and played at Kobe's level, maybe even better then Kobe. Pierce's 20.0 ppg average this season isn't a reflection of his true talent, if Pierce only needs to score 20 to win, that's all he'll do, at his age every minute he can conserve is a blessing. When playoff time comes Pierce will put all his energy into elevating his game to the point it was at when he was 26. Anyone remember when Pierce was a 98 (the first 98 rated player in NBA2k history) in one of the NBA2k games a while back? In that same game Kobe was a 96. If the Celtics win it this year, there won't be too much separating Pierce from Kobe (no Pierce will never be as good or as great as Kobe but he can definitely come very close). Anyways I'm all done here, hope you all enjoy the game! Oh and, watch out for Rondo, a few more seasons of experience under his belt, he might be one of the top point guards in the league. He still has to develop a good jump shot and he has to be more consistent, once he's got those down it won't be "if" it'll be "when" will Rondo become great.
