Kobe Bryant: 99 (I think 98, but a 99 is tolerable)
Lebron James: 97 (not a 99 yet, give him 2-3 more years)
Dwanye Wade: 96
Kevin Garnett: 96 (he may not look it, but he is 32, he's at the end of his prime but still a beast)
Dwight Howard: 95
Paul Pierce: 95 (when he gets hot he can still score at will, and he's still a 40 point threat. His skills are still off the chart but starting to lessen slightly)
Gilbert Arenas: 95
Chris Paul: 94 (no way is he a 99 no matter how good hes doing, hes too young to have reached his peak)
Tim Duncan: 94 (only 2 yrs ago I'd have said he was a 97, but like everyone his abilities diminish with age)
Dirk Nowitzki: 93
Allen Iverson: 93 (he's 32, still great but at that age his game is starting to diminish as everyone's game does with age)
Tracy McGrady: 92 (also not getting any younger, even hes admitted he's starting to lose his explosiveness)
Ray Allen: 92 (still got his pinpoint shooting, but his age is catching up with him)
Vince Carter: 91 (getting older, and unfortunately even Vince admits he didn't always give 100%)

These are more accurate, MUCH more accurate. I can deal with Kobe being a 99 so I left him, but Pierce definitely deserved a higher rating, and they did overrate KG by a few points (he is still incredible). Pierce is really just an underrated player all around. So he doesn't have 20 career 50 point games (hes got 20 career 40 point games though), hes never scored 60, hes never averaged 30+ points in a season... His prolific scoring consistency is more valuable then anything else. Plus he is just as good as ANYONE in late game situations. Yep, that's right, when there's 10 seconds to go and your teams down by 1, Paul Pierce is just as good of an option as Kobe Bryant is (not saying Pierce is as good as Bryant overall, but in this category he is). Pierce's ability to score when he wants to is incredible. He is older now but 3-4 seasons ago, in his prime, he could score at will, something only the greatest of the great can do. Not to mention when it was crunch time in the finals last year, Pierce stepped up his game and played at Kobe's level, maybe even better then Kobe. Pierce's 20.0 ppg average this season isn't a reflection of his true talent, if Pierce only needs to score 20 to win, that's all he'll do, at his age every minute he can conserve is a blessing. When playoff time comes Pierce will put all his energy into elevating his game to the point it was at when he was 26. Anyone remember when Pierce was a 98 (the first 98 rated player in NBA2k history) in one of the NBA2k games a while back? In that same game Kobe was a 96. If the Celtics win it this year, there won't be too much separating Pierce from Kobe (no Pierce will never be as good or as great as Kobe but he can definitely come very close). Anyways I'm all done here, hope you all enjoy the game! Oh and, watch out for Rondo, a few more seasons of experience under his belt, he might be one of the top point guards in the league. He still has to develop a good jump shot and he has to be more consistent, once he's got those down it won't be "if" it'll be "when" will Rondo become great.
