First Chance To See OKC Uniforms

Vetzballin has posted up a couple videos from NBA 2K9 featuring the Bulls against the Oklahoma City Thunder. While the court is generic it does include the official logo, colors, and apparently their uniforms which were not to be revealed until Monday. Check the videos out soon if you’d like to get a look at the home white unis because they may not be up for much longer (as expected they’ve now been removed).

man you know 2k has to put a lot of work into there basketball games after NBA 2k9 comes out what else do they have, cause there know way in hell
I’m playing MLB 2k9 with out a demo, and prizefighter was a joke I hope they give up on boxing leave that to EA.

There is a sort of home court advantage I guess especially in the playoffs, I found myself calling timeouts more on the road then at home to make the crowd chill out bcuz it seems like my FG Pct was gone to hell lol.

Yes, in OKC where prior to this year they haven’t had a pro sports franchise. The video I was referring to was the Milwaukee Bucks vs Utah Jazz. I have watched many a pro game on TV and have been to many games at the Palace and have never heard or seen a crowd stand through the whole game.
I also have issue that the crowd is so loud that you can barely hear the play-by-play. Most video games attempt to represent a television broadcast. Even in the loudest arenas you can clearly hear the commentators. The crowd noise in 2K9 drowns out the play-by-play, which isn’t good.

I feel ya but the OKC games Im telling u felt like a college atmosphere with noone ever sitting down for periods at a time. Maybe it was just bcuz it was our first live NBA action but we will see this year.

As much as I didn’t want to, its evident I’m going to have to start moderating comments and hand out some comment bans. Like I’ve said before I’ve always valued the freedom for people to leave any type of comment but there has to be something productive coming out of them. The insults and attacks are going to be curbed from here on out. Not exactly how I want to spend my time but I guess I’ll have to do that.
So I guess this would count as a warning to everyone. Thanks for understanding.

I don’t think anyone cares which game you prefer. That is kinda the point of what a lot of people feel right now. Its one thing to support a product, to support the game you like. Where people go wrong is when they attack others who may enjoy a competitors product.
Why people feel the need to put down the other game is beyond me, or more to the point put down the people who enjoy the opposite game. Everyone clamors for competition!!! but it is ironic that the most hatred between fans is with the NBA games that do have the competition.

where You can find player face comparison from last year and from 2k9. Not only the faces, but the skin textures, lightnings and sweat became significantly better, more realistic. Marion’s face is just like a real in-game photo. Notice, the jersey textures, the silky touch became better, plus it waves more realisticly.
I think 2k9 did a great job this year about graphs, even if I do think, that it is not really relevant in a game, where You are only watching players from the far courtside angle 90% during the total gametime.

Yo those 2k9 graphics are a huge improvement over 2k8, 2k8 looks like cartoons compared 2 2k9 im impressed. the graphics finally caught up wit the gameplay. Guess i b wrekn fools again wit GOOD GRAPHICS this year chea boi!
