lol, first their name was leaked, then their logo, no the jersey. They can’t keep anything a secret can they?

the opening presentation for 2K looks pretty sweet…though when they put the announcers on the court with mics, they always end up looking creepy…

You know it upsets me now because if they can patch that then now I know that they can put jerseys in a sports title… and the lack of jerseys in ncaa is annoying along with some missing jerseys in madden, so why dont they put out a patch to add jerseys to those games???… or would that “prevent” from working on 2010, I didnt buy madden this year but I have Ncaa and I hate watching the games on saturday and hoping on it and playing the game without the correct jerseys

Yeah they can patch in things like jerseys or offer them as downloadable content in other games too. Its just a priority thing I suppose.

well…at least they aren’t charging us for additional jerseys like they were a couple of years ago for madden on the 360…

EA NEVER charged us to have the extra jerseys in Madden or NCAA for 07 when they did that. I know because I remember downloading them all.

What difference does it make if EA has the jerseys in the game or the jerseys are added in a patch when you first turn on the game?

I am not an EA fanboy but it is remarkable how perception dominates. Yes, EA has implemented patches to fix things post-release of a few games. However, 2K’s offerings aren’t perfect and they have released very few patches to fix any of the annoyances in its products….MLB series sucks…

Skihawks, if You believe or not, thousands of LIVE players can not enjoy the new OCT jersey, as they (including me) do not have live account, as many countries here in Europe do not have MS Live support.

I think patches are good things, but in the last 10 years for the PC version of NBA Live only the fans made the patches, updates to make the game a little bit more enjoyable, not EA.

You guys make it seem this patch is for game play…It’s for the jersey and the court…It’s not EA’s fault that they have to patch it…It is the NBA’s fault….They keep everything under wraps that by the time they announced the name and jersey it was to late to put it in the game…

Pasta, any word yet on when NHL09 is gonna unlock some of their teams’ 3rd jerseys??? I know my Sabres, and others, have already unveiled theirs to the public…so who are we waiting on?

I don’t know how 2K got it in…I mean when the NBA announced the name and jersey the game was already done…Maybe 2K got the jersey leaked to them…

2k got the jerseys because the nba send it 2 them

A few more weeks….two solid sports games. I’m a happy camper.
