I so want to get an NBA game this year. I haven’t played an NBA game since NBA 2K1 and haven’t played an entire season since NBA Live 95 on the Genesis (one of the best hoops games ever — besides Coach K College Hoops).

Both offerings this year have me amped….

Coach K was the bomb and that was so long ago why is it so hard to make a game like that now? Coach K and Live 95 were def the best of all time not sure what happened to ea after that.

You can start up a dynasty with any Live 365 set of data if you’d like. Once you’re in the dynasty though it wouldn’t make sense for it to affect it because the players’ attributes and roster movement are all based on whats happening within the dynasty.

lol. i hate to say it but 2k looks like its gonna be a more exciting game to play and i am a live person. Ea worries to much about extra features instead of game play they added 365 its a nice feature dont get me wrong but the game needs to be fun to play also! It looks just like last years game with some minor improvements and thats just me being honest.

I watched a video of NBA 2K9 on Operation Sports with the Pistons at home. The Pistons PA announcer Mason’s voice was in the game.

It was pretty sweet to hear him say after a turnover, “Deeee-troit basketbaallllll”

Pasta, I know you have limited info on 2K9 but can you find out if each team’s home announcer is in the game??? Never been a huge 2K fan but that is a cool addition….

Yes in 2k we have some real PA announcers in the game with Detroit being one of them.

Yeah, it never was close. I was gonna buy Live as a game I would try out this year with the 365 feature but i decided not to. EA puts in a feature like this every year to bait peeps into buying it and they almost got me. Whenever they make a feature to make the gameplay better ill buy it.
