NBA Academy: Part Four

All the drills in the NBA Academy of NBA Live 09 are valuable but ultimately they are preparation for the full practices where you can take what you’ve learned and try and refine those skills without having to play a regular game to improve. It is even better when considering all the Academy drills including the practices with your team are available within dynasty mode and it offers a way for those who want to work on refining their team’s playbooks and tailoring it to their players.
I’m not sure why but I was defaulted to controlling the second team instead of the starters. There must be a way to choose which side you control but it didn’t jump out at me. Continue on to check out the 5 on 5 full court, 5 on 5 half court, and 5 on 0 half court practices.

This is all of them now, I think that makes 15 total. There will be more next year, I was told that they had ideas for like 80 of them but had to prioritize.

Sales numbers don’t come out until the 2nd Thursday of the month.
As to those reviews I find it odd they’d complain about blocked shots. I get blocked when I take a poor shot. It isn’t like they’re blocking everything inside, or blocking shots that they shouldn’t have a chance at. On the defensive end I block some occasionally but since there is such a delay in response I’m usually jumping through the air way too late.
I believe the 365 is tied to the hard drive so that shouldn’t be a worry.

Fernandez was just added in the update that came out yesterday. Starting PG for the Blazers. You see me controlling Blake because I was running with the second teamers.

Pasta-
I have a couple questions.
1) How is instant rpelay in the game? Are you able to zoom in really close on players like in NCAA Football/NHL, or is there still that invisible barrier around your player models when you want to manually watch a replay and zoom in on them close?
2.) Are you experienceing issues with the halftimes/post game highlights freezing? I have heard from some that the highlight reels are not playing, and locking up on a till image. You can still progress past them, but you are missing out on the highlight reel. Can you confirm this?

We already have a 365/Roster Update. Some players moves/additions, some accessories fixed. I think there were even some changes to FIBA teams.

Bumble- Not sure exactly. I know you can zoom in pretty well, but once you get to a certain point the player disappears.
No problems with the replays for me.

ha uh sorry to beat a dead horse but why are you avoiding the question of who and when are the roster ratings being released?…i know they will be updated daily so they will change through out the year but id really like to know…please and thank you.

As to 365 and how it relates to dynasty you can start up your dynasty with the latest data, use the default data, or data from any day of last season or this season. Once you start your dynasty though of course it won’t affect it at all.

Thats not a question I can answer for someone else. If you’ve played one game over the other, like last year, I doubt your opinion of which game is best for you would change. They both have unique advantages.
