i think they need to bump up the level in which u play it feel’s like im playing on starter level when i play online they need to bump up fouls and also on contact needs to be moved to the left trigger so it will lock like older versions of ncaa which worked pretty well u don’t really need that cpu assisit crap as it barely works and screws up ur defenive positioning but even with that said it is alot of fun, my club is now 18-7 we beat the king of kings twice who is ranked number 1 and we r number 5 in div 1 if they can fix these issues this will make this live the best one yet .

Thanks for the input I guess I ll keep 2K9,but its just really frustrating seeing my game freeze so much online.I ll just wait till I can afford Live 09 by the end of this month.

Yes the 2k baseball series left a horrible taste in my mouth. It was completely unplayable and I got three people to buy so that we could play online. Never even one game…

TriState, I’d wait a little to see what 2K does with this issue. In the meantime, maybe rent Live to experience the online. The last thing you want to do is trade in 2K and then start seeing that they have fixed things.

I don’t see the Team Up getting too much better. 2K claimed that MLB 2K8 would be working smoothly online and it has never happened. They then said that they would no longer be focusing on fixing issues with MLB 2K8 so that they could work on MLB 2K9. That’s not a good sign.

In all honesty I haven’t played a 2K game since the Genesis. I have always been a Live guy, and enjoy the OTP a lot. I can’t dis 2k cause I don’t know 2k, but Live is fun and much more polished than last years version, which I thought was a huge leap from 07!!
