NCAA has the Live engine and will be fine tuned, also people go to operation sports or ncaa strategies and there are like 3 producer bolgs regarding the game. Just reading those blogs will have you atleast interested enough to give it a try.

I feel it was a smart marketing move to push up the release date. I think I will give this game a shot. It seems like they are puttting forth a decent effort, plus i already traded in CH2K8. I have NBA 2K9 and i wouldnt mind playing a bball game on a different gameplay engine. Eventhough 2K’s engine is superior, the EA engine isn’t as bad as some people make it seem. Plus EA claimed they would make improvements to the engine after the Live release.

I wont be buying it, Il try the demo, but EA’s basketball games are just too bug riddles, features dont work properly, GAMEPLAY is lackluster, never get SIM stats, bland presentation…all while having the ESPN/NCAA license etc.
Plus no named rosters online…. OS forums already have people updating CH 2k8 rosters to reflect 2009, and that has great gameplay, etc. Im sticking wiht CH 2k8/9 for for college fix.

I wont ever buy another EA basketball game. They blow like the wind, PP Do u kno if there will b another College Hoops game ? Like CH2k10? or 11? Im hoping they jus takin a year off but i doubt it

What is two weeks going to do in terms of development? Not much. The game is probably already finished or close to it.

EA, although not perfect, does a good job of giving the college games a different feel that the pro counterparts…

Coming out 2 weeks early? That is a very bad idea. They need to take the 2 weeks and put more polish on the game, and find more bugs. They are being greedy if they are pushing up this release date. Good luck to those who buy this, another EA Sports game that plays like feces.
