Personally I've always preferred the shot stick, just gives it a more authentic feel mimicking moves vice hitting a button, but it's a personal preference thing.

The 2k multiplayer is garbage and is continuing a trend after the awful baseball experience. That some can't come to grips with that is hilarious, you like the offline play in 2k9 great, but please stop defending the online component. 2k obviously doesn't care about it or they would fix it and ultimately it will be their downfall.

playing online is whack its way too accelerated and people stay using the computer for defense i mean i thought the reason to buy the game was to play on your own fags.

Funny comparison, the Heat shall trade Marion shortly, I hope they sign up with a smooth player, like Joe Johnson.
It is fair, what U all said, but most of the NBA gamers need only 1 game to play, and this year it is nba 2k9, which is an overally better game, than Live 09. Lakers for Champs!

I have been pleasantly surprised with post-release support from EA, just look at NCAA Basketball 09. Now, there may not be an excuse to have bad schedules, no rosters online and un-editable historic teams, but they quickly banged out a patch for that. That's more than you can say about 2K9 and the way 2K has handled their highly advertised team play mode.

I had been playing team up mode since Wednesday 12/3 and has never run into any lags. My games have been with 10 players all over the world. The team mode is great, just as smooth as offline, they only time it's stops is when someone drops, and that's onyl for a 30 second count down. Pasta I think your connection is bad. You need to try it again and do a repost write up.

If people love Live's online features and performance, really it comes down to what gameplay is like offline also. I mean you cant really change gameplay between offline and online can you? (rhetorical question)

Live is 1,000,000 more times fun to play than 2k9. 2K9 is a pretty Porsche with a lawnmower engine under the hood!!
