Maybe if EA Sports didn't make horrible AFL games they would have a better following. I can remember playing the original and watching players getting laid out while celebrating touchdowns. What the hell?! I thought this was the AFL, not NFL Blitz!

I'm glad af2 is not going down as well, it's nice to go to a game here in Green Bay during the NFL's offseason.

I'd be pretty surprised if the AFL went under before some of those "alphabet soup" leagues (like AFL founder Jim Foster likes to refer to them) went under, such as the IFL, AIFA, CIFL, APFL, SIFL…all those are still in operation…

hey pasta this is off topic but i dont see another place to ask this but will they ever update the playbooks in live. I mean they have each team tendencies why not have the correct plays that they run, the teams have like different plays but the same plays like it i play with the spurs they have the same play run "1-4 high for example" but that same play for everyone on the floor

When the Arena league started 20+ years ago I thought it may least two or three years tops. For a different brand of football this league has been more than successful. I think the economy is taking its toll.

I am surprised that the NFL wouldn't want to sink its claws into this league since it has developed some NFL talent, such as Kurt Warner. Not to mention a lot of guys that played in the NFL went on to star in the Arena League. I don't watch it that often but it is exciting.
