THey NEED to make one game and keep it the same every year, maybe adding updates,fixes and just redo the rooster every year, but of course they wouldn't make as much money,thats all they REALLY care about anyway.I'm sick of learning all the new shit every year and i keep trying to push buttons that don't do what they did last year.BLAH. my 09 disk went flying across the room, hit the wall and broke in 2 piece a few months ago,i think i will rent 2010 before i buy again!

madden hasnt been good since ps2 and prob wont be for a awhile. there not interested in fixing things that are broke they just like to create new problems in the game.

madden has been around forever. i can remember playing it almost 20 years ago and being totally entertained the whole time. for years not much has changed due to technology, but over the past few years the physics,gameplay, and presentation has improved alot. from madden 99 to 09 look at the changes and even from 09 t0 10 i am impressed. in 10 years i can only imagine what improvements will be made. do i purchase each and every version of the game? of course but since the online play has improved and there is a new online franchise mode this year i just might stat. the moral of the story is the madden franchise has to grow one step at a time you cant please all the people all the time, but from year to year the game makes improvemnets and becomes more realistic. just wait one day when madden 2030 comes out we will all be on the field takeing snaps form the center...

in superstar, if u get drafted top 10 or 7, it should show your character putting on a freaking hat and holding up the jersey of the team he is getting drafted to!

one thing i wish for madden 10 is to see them improve the superstar mode again. in the old madden i could do at least five seasons with my superstar. now i can barely do 1. its so boring, bring back the apartments and the barbershops and being able to change your number please!!!

You guys are doing well so far. But what happened with the helmets flying off on 056? Guys hardly ever strap their helmets, get that feature back. Things like reverses and such. The playbooks are so fake vereyone runs the same stuff. It'd be cool to pick your own commentators too. We need Chris berman and tom jackson. You have the espn licebse use it!! But little things like cleats. Everyone in the NFL doesn't wear reeboks. Get some variet, some guys have theri own cleats. Fix that please, i love madden and i want it to be great

EA,Peter, Ian,Phil your game is really bad, not that you care.It lacks so many basics, gamers should not have to post what is needed in your game.If you dont know, you guys should man up and let another design team try a different direction.At the end of the day madden 09 is awful bad and unrealistic,yet when released EA and Peter and Phil claimed that it was the best madden ever.Madden has become a game of rollerball....how fast one can work his gamestick and remember AI patterns. If a player is close to a play , you had better take control of him because the game AI is so bad that the player will not respond realistically.Have you ever seen a db in madden make a diving INT on his own, Fb pick up the blitz, DE yell screen and respond to it, Qbs with the right throwing motions, refs on the field that sometimes get in the way or ran over, players on the sidelines talking to coaches, trainers attending to injured players, cheerleaders on the sidelines,alternate game jerseys, game physics...little speed backs should not run over defensive lineman, real penalities that you can rewind and challenge, custom views and soundtracks...the game is just lacking at the end of the day!

How bout I get a adjustable playbook for franchise mode, which of course, needs to be updated desperately all by itself. Scouting is awful, the draft is awful, franchise mode blows. I didn't buy 08 or 09 because of it.

They can add all the stupid chain gangs and terrible towels they want, real players aren't going to by a crappy game and with this franchise mode, thats all this is, a crappy game.

They need to include some form of weekly highlight show, like 2k5, or even bring back the Tony Bruno show!!! The graphics are cool but other than that the superbowl show is weak!!! And they need to show some form of celebration when teams win their division, like back in the day, in tecmo superbowl!! It seems like madden is getting so waterdown, ever since they bought the rights to the nfl. If 2k was still making nfl games, madden would be steping it up!!!Competion always brings out the best...

It is getting boring. Use the MLB the Show graphics. Make it more realistic. They run stiff, theres no bobble catches, it looks fake. There definetly weren't 85 new features on 09. Get some new stuff. If the game has to cime out later for us to get the best madden ever then im all for it

Madden is like internet explorer people use it and know that mozilla is better. 2K5 was not perfect;however, people still play it and the general game play is better than Madden's has been to date. 2k released for $19.99
and introduced the world to 1st person football and flawless online play, reasons why it will forever be better than madden. Two completely different game experiences in one package for twenty bucks!!!!!!!!! I dont believe Peter Moore or Ian Cummings ever played in the NFL and this is the reason that their product has no life, it feels like a video game instead of feeling like a NFL experience .MLB the SHOW 09 feels GREAT!!!, NBA 2k9 has its moments, madden just feels incomplete,boring,lacking imagination. Cone vision passing, hitsticks, are gimmicks . We need gameplay not gimmicks.Ps1 gameday comes out, madden is so bad that EA dose not release it, 2k5 comes out for 20bucks and EA buys the exclusive NFL rights, EA dose not handle competition well because they refuse to change for the better, instead of fixing they repaint and touch up.NFL 2k released on the dreamcast and Madden ran for cover.EA made a deal with sony not to release madden on the dreamcast and that caused a great system to go belly up.Remember nba live on the ps1 vs nba shootout. It showed that EA sports was and is lazy. Gameday made madden look like ass back in the day and was the 1st 3d football game while madden had to hide behind its name and 2D sprites.Madden needs to stop letting madden players test their product and let gamers like myself test their product.Halo , mario, zelda, metroid prime, call of duty 4, killzone 2, soul calibur, virtual tennis, 2k5, pure, dead zone(EA) and many more great games exist because developers took a chance; however, Peter& IAN want to play god with madden instead of giving gamers the product that
we deserve...it took 2yrs to get the game to 60fps,4yrs for refs on the field, still waiting for real gang tackles...if this was a real job, in the real world, Peter and Ian would be fired based on their work..allmost forgot, the 1st NFL fever was years better than madden at the time of release. Could you imagine what the Sony, microsoft, 2k, or backbreaker dev teams could do with a NFL game

I will spend two weeks updating my 2K5 rosters and laughing at people talking about how sweet Madden 2011 will be. EA man up and start from scratch and stop trying to fix a greatly flawed product...just look at need for speed, NCAA march madness, NBA live, EA needs to hire new dev teams with new ideas...it is a shame when you know in your heart that games are bad and you release them anyway....It took 3patches for NCAA 09 to be playable....
