anyone who watches boxing knows that no fighter can take 50 unprotected hooks to the face and not hit the cavas, which is precisely how many hooks it took in fight night 3 to lower the "HEALTH METER" in every EA sports boxing game ever made enough to drop a guy. they have no concept of the science of boxing or fighting. the wheel needs to be reinivted and i seriously doubt EA sports will be doing it in fight night round 4. ill bet my ass that they are banking on the fact that tyson being in the game will enough copies of the game, and i bet my ass that they are right. wont make it a good boxing game though. just an entertaining fighting game with boxers in it

I'm going to a EA Community Event next month to play the game. The producers want feedback from a couple of people that go, so we will have to see what I can say to you guys and can't.

Exactly. EA doesn't know a damn thing about REAL boxing. Fight Night Round 3 was terrible and pure arcade. I look back at the reviews that game got and how the hell did it get a 9? It was nothing like real boxing. A game like Fight Night Round 3 gets a 9 while a REAL simulation sports game like MLB The Show 08 gets an 8 or an 8.5? Get the hell outta here! I swear I believe EA pays these gamesites to give high reviews to their games.

So now because you're a Mod for them suddenly you have faith that EA is gonna make the best simulation boxing game?

Don't count on it dude. It's still EA whether you got a job with them or not. They don't make simulation sports games, 2K does. As bad as Prizefighter was, it was still closer to sim than any Fight Night game.

the other thing is that there are always too many current fighters mising from boxing games, because they dont want to do what it takes to contract them individually or however it works. imagine having a football game without peyton manning, or the atlanta falcons. thats the equivelent of a boxing game in the year 2009 missing Kelly Pavlik, Joe Calzaghe, and the other major belt holders, top 10 P4P, etc.
