Home seemed interesting but walking an avatar throughout a virtual world, to me, is aimed at kids. I didn't drop $400 to take an avatar and go chat with other avatars in a virtual world. I bought the console to play games.

Home, or what we could consider the second coming of Second Life, would have been more appealing two years ago. This whole idea is outdated, IMO.

When first reading that EA had added a sports complex I thought that it may be kind of a cool idea but it needs to be done right. Interactive games, trivia and things like that would be interesting but I don't want to walk my avatar ten minutes to get there…..

How could Sony develop this garbage for years and finally release it only to have people find out that the most exciting thing they can do is move a chair? All of the things EA Sports will offer on Home will either be available online or in the Playstation Store. I don't understand why companies are even bothering to dedicate resources to Home. Sure the potential is there, but this has been Sony's pet project for years and all you can really do is choose from a few virtual shirts and listen to teenagers cuss over their headset. What a disappointment!
