EA Sports is now offering the opportunity to submit your last name through EA Sports World for the chance to have it voice recorded by Brad Nessler and included in NCAA Football 2010. While they likely won’t be able to get every name in there should be a large selection taken from the requests that are made.

i agree with Sin City. Everyone thinks this is so cool. well when 2010 comes out and it sucks then i don't want to hear you bitching. I would rather them tell me something they changed in the game to make the game better. It is sad that i currently have the PS2 version of NCAA 08 in my PS3 right now because it is 10 times better than 09 for PS3.

Does that make it not a good thing? Of course they are going to do things to try and help sales but putting in a few hundred or thousand names wouldnt make a big difference anyway since most of those people are going to buy it anyway. The Show took name requests over the last couple years too.

I'm tired of pounding northwest or southeast state or what ever they call themselevs on the game! There was a time that i could remember that they had 1 AA teams in the game. I would love to play with one of the teams if they would include them in 2010

This is a great thing they are doing. I haven't bought an NCAA game since I picked up a used copy of '06. Might be time for another one. The name alone wouldn't make me buy it, but the fact I'm due for a new NCAA game (I bought Madden '09 so I'm certain to NOT buy '10) and I've heard so many good things about NCAA '09 might make it time for an upgrade.

Nice feature though.
With the exception of a little more realistic pass coverage skills and that STUOID toe tuch thing that makes wide open players fall down in bounds, the MAIN things I want are presentation related.
-Chaingangs
-Coaches
-Celebrations after wins/bowls
-Refs
-REALISTIC FANS AND SIDELINES
-Realistic Bowl Games
~meaning painted endzones and what not
-THE DANG BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP! Not just the Rose Bowl Orange bowl etc.

dont you think they have too many celebrations already??!?
1. Please fix the high interceptions/ and high completion percentage
2. A sack or some pass ruch would be nice.
3. better pre game presentaion for the national tv games. why not show herbstreet, nessler and corso talking before the game about who will win, top players and pleaase add some new phrases tired of the repetitive ones
4. Ref's and chain gang would be nice. and please dont make a new glitch that recievers would run into the ref's all the time.
5. can receievers fight for balls sometimes instead of letting the defensive back cut in front for another interception.
6.what happened to the senior bowl at the end of the season???
7.team logos on cheerleaders uniform. little thing like that is more realistic than just team colors.
8.I am also a fan of division 1AA. what happened to the teams they use to have back in the days???
9. long season injuries…anytime an injury happens its almost certain its some kind of 9-10 week injury.
10. fatigue. Rb's dont get fatigued when they are near the endzone and about to score! they want that touchdown even if they have to be carted in the endzone.
11. better playbooks.
12. weather and field conditions. even in the rain the field does not get any worse.
13. more crowd noise and band playing.
14. some better tackling animations. I always get this one painful looking takle that looks like the famous roy williams rope tackle or what ever they call it.
15.SOMETHING TELLS ME EA WILL PUT OUT SOME BS AND I WILL STILL PROBABLY BUY IT CAUSE LOVE COLLEGE FOOTBALL!! SOO PASTA PLEASE TALK WITH YOU EA BUDDIES ABOUT MAKING THE GAME EVEN BETTER CAUSE IT MADE BIG STRIDES THIS YEAR!

Lovely idea, I'm all for it if they don't use this to circumvent other features. I see at least three replies here asking for 1-AA/FCS teams. Yes please. I still don't understand why EA is seemingly refusing to implement these teams in the current-gen game? There are a ton of fans/alumni of schools and there is enough widespread national interest to support inclusion. In fact about 25 players (almost a full round of a draft) were drafted in 2008 out of the FCS, including guys like Joe Flacco, Tim Hightower and Dominic Rodgers-Cromartie. I guess all we can do as passionate fans is to keep bringing this issue up until it's resolved…

I have been playing the NCAA series since it's creation on PS1. Other than the chaingangs, etc, why don't we have some realistic stats. I mean come on, I can put the game on heisman, set all my ai to 0 and set the cpu to 99 and still take Temple to the BCS Champ, and Kill Florida 102 – 0….
