Final Madden Roster Update Coming Next Week

I’ve been sent some information in regards to the next Madden roster update. The hope is to have it out by the end of next week. This will be the final one for 09 and will include the removal of players from the IR. It will not be limited to the teams that were in the playoffs as it will include updates for the entire league.

Apparently this update may be more significant than any we’ve seen all year, with some sweeping changes to more reflect the performances of this season and address players who may have been neglected. That is good news considering the majority of the community felt that the ratings should be based somewhat more on current performance than the way things had been going which was more of a slant towards past performance.

ok???? im a big boys fan and this is far fetched…. admit it, we suck in december, sadly. if madden is as realistic as it claims, your numbers, mr ea sports, are too high. high 90's for t.o. and t ro AND Roy??? not last 2 wks of season …roy didnt even know the playbook the whole time he was there this season…and admitted to it on dallascowboys.com. So givin a guy a 97 that isnt familiar with the team playbook, come on! I would like for the real players to put up those ratings, but until the boys get a real coach and not a Jerry Jones yes man, they will continue to implode in the late season, much to the disgust of hardcore, boys fans like myself. Hopefully, there will be a lot of changes this offseason.

I find it very interesting that nobody knows the difference between a Flanker and a Split-End or why the Flanker lines up off of the line of scrimmage. Or the Gap letters for the defensive lineman and the hole numbers for the offensie. It kind goes hand in hand with who is really playing this game and who is on this blog. HEY PASTA PADRE! EagleFlyHigh the least you could have done is answer all of the questions. Why does the flanker line off of the line of scrimmage and if you say because of the 7 man limit you are wrong. You still haven't given the #'s for the offensive gaps. If you are going to explain a part of the game either explain it fully or just leave it to the professionals because all you will do is cause confusion. Every position has a particular role to play to generate a particular cohesive concept like the game of chess. I could go in so much detail that it would blow your mind as to how complicated football really is. So EaglesFlyHigh, Kris, Ken and the rest of yall the door is always open for me to show you how to break down film and analysis formations. If I were in your shoes and really wanted to know about football (the x's and o's not the Sports Center and Madden Hail Mary's) I would jump on this opportunity to receive a lecture by someone of my magnitude that understand the full grasp of football.

Split end is a wr on the los, flanker by definition is off the los or its a pen and if you dont know the gaps then you havent met a cheeser who runs engage 8 every other play…any other brain busters and ill have to charge you, $4.95/min…

Hopefully chris johnson will get a boost, i mean he's like 6th in yards in the league, he's a rookie going to the pro bowl, and he had 72 rushing and 28 recieving(100ovryards) on the ravens even though he was injured in the second quarter. he has over 1200 yards and he only an 86. Also he ran a 4.24 and he's the fastest man in the league with the fastest time in history yet his agility is 96, im hoping for a 98.

I know that many teams have already made some significant staff changes after the last week of the season but it would be nice to see an update that reflects the coaching staffs as of week 17, for example the removal of Lane Kiffin from the game!
