i cant wait i have no school tomorrow and I'm getting up at 11:45 and getting everything ready to play this the whole day i will be looking at the stuff pasta said that was going be big this year like the little things… change in day the new fielding and pass balls. i loved the pass ball feature because last year was not really any concern in the 08 season. i got one pass ball per 5 to 6 games and i had my vet diff on. if im one on the first to play it tm befor anyone comments i will give a general over view of what i wanted to look for.

We have Metal Gear Solid 4, Resistance Fall of Man 2, Socom 2, and the upcoming Killzone 2, so do you really think we are missing anything. The demos are free. You have to sign in on-line at the playstation home page and get the demo from there:) They are saying it should be up by 6:00 PM EST on 2/5. But you may not download till later becuase I am sure the servers will be jammed and dependant upon your connection as well. PLAY BALL!!!

Yeah, if want the Killzone 2 demo you have to go to GameStop and reserve it. You will get a card with a code that unlocks the demo (beta).

If you talk exclusives then I can name 3 exclusives that 360 cant even play:

The above mentioned games are all over 25Gigs in size which can only be handled by Bluray disc technology. So I say to you "Catching up??????" They caught up on PS3 launch day.

The presentation looked great and I thought the lighting effects were as cool as I had been reading from the guys who had a chance to check out the game last week. There were not many drastic changes from last year, but there were many little changes that make this game so much better than 08. By the way, the signiture style and small effects such as baggy pants, batting gloves sticking out the back pocket, and even different bat colors are touches that really add to the presentation of this game. One thng that really astonshed me was how realistic the crowd looked and moved! I had 8 K's with Cole Hamels in 4 innings, and at one point the announcers showed a screen of fans putting the K signs along the stadium ledge. I thought that was pretty cool. I can not wait to play as my favorite team when this game comes out in a month!

I own BOTH systems. As far as I am concerned, the PS3 wins hands down ONLY with MLB: The Show. It is the best baseball game I have ever played and I've been playing baseball games since the original Nintendo and RBI Baseball. Don't blow off Gears of War 2 as a so-so, run-of-the-mill game. It most definitely is not. Try playing "Horde" mode and see if you think your mentioned games even compare.

I have both systems too, and I just played the demo last night the main thing that I've noticed is the smoother framerate. The graphics are great, but that's to be expected. The framerate increase helps the realisim tremendously.

As far as the console wars….good god haven't we gotten past that YET? Both consoles kick ass.
The online for the ps3 isn't as good as the 360's but other then that, it's fine.

I've seen alot of grown up ps3 people say how upset they are that they can't get GTA 4 Lost and Damned for the ps3. But they have just a bit of maturity and can deal with it.

Ya, Sony got screwed by that, but they gave everything they had to make sure blu -ray won the format war. So they lost the first 2 DLC's from Rockstar, but hey, they gained a movie format …..that's taking off like a lead….well you know.
They got blu-ray and that's enough, really.

The online for the ps3 isn't as good as the 360's but other then that, it's fine.

I've seen alot of grown up ps3 people say how upset they are that they can't get GTA 4 Lost and Damned for the ps3. But they have just a bit of maturity and can deal with it.

Ya, Sony got screwed by that, but they gave everything they had to make sure blu -ray won the format war. So they lost the first 2 DLC's from Rockstar, but hey, they gained a movie format …..that's taking off like a lead….well you know.
They got blu-ray and that's enough, really.

I'm very glad I have a ps3 JUST for the show. Uncharted is cool, too.
I'm glad I have a 360 for Gears.
