Here are the final seven screenshots taken from the community event held at the end of last month. If you missed either of the first two sets all the screens can be found in the gallery in larger form. As seen from the demo having the screenshot feature that produces them in such great quality is an excellent addition for this year. Continue on to view the final group of screens from the event.

This game justs gets better and better. Yesterday, I saw a nasty bad hop single that just about took off my 3rd basemans head! It looked just like the real thing with the player flinching as it went over his shoulder after starting to crouch down to make the play. Awesome!

For clarification, that was playing with auto defense and manual throw options on. I feel that gives a better simulation of a player's expected performance when fielding and then I tell him where to throw the ball.

when you play on auto, just your players do they still have that red and blue circles and arrows around them? can't take them off. it's killing me!

wow, i always find it so interesting how crappy the screenshots always look for this game, compared to actual gameplay, considering its without question to most visually stunning sports game ever made.

Hmm, off the top of my head, I think they dont until they catch the ball, then they do because you have control then. Not sure though, I will have to pay attention when I play next time.

so for one I can't for the life of me get the game to get screenshots for me… but I did accidentally go 11 innings in the demo…

we were tied 2 to 2 from the 3rd inning all the way until the top of the 9th… and they got a solo home run off of my pitcher's dead arm. I came back and hit someone in w/ a double… then it was 2 innings later (16 strikeouts by my philly pitcher so far) and the toll of 11 straight innings finally got to me and they scored 3 points. I thought i was done… but i had barely made it back to rollins and the rest of the lineup, even the pitcher helped out getting the game done. got a guy in on a double, then two were one w/ utley at bat and utley slams it (not an instant slam, i had to watch the outfielder give chase) out of the park.

I won 7-6 bottom of the 11th… on a 4 inning demo ^_^

I love this game.
