Madden 10 To Have Some New Stat Categories

I love 2k5 so they(madden) should copy what 2k5 football did

Yall remember in 2k5 they would bring out the measuring tape to see if the ball reaches first down and if not t hey would make it inches

Everyone Everyone what about the trophies in madden 09 when me and my friends argue on wins and losses we cant even tell who play who when you go the the trophies to see the games played

whats the point of having the tower of trophies if you cant tell who played who

owner mode, unrestricted free agency, emails, rebuild your stadium without having to relocate, ability to jump the snap on D (it wasn't on the current gen consoles but the next gen had it until this year).......just thought I'd add a couple more thigs to the list that have been taken out of Madden over the years.

MADDEN WOOoooOO have you ever played in a REAL life football game in your life? The gameplay in 09 is god awful...unless you think linebackers with 40 verticals is normal. Thats not the only thing, I could go on for ages. I have been playing since madden was born...learn how the human body works, take a physics class, then talk.

finally, wow have to say I'm very impressed with EA thus far. I just may purchase madden next this yr

".......if i have the financial powers and resources, i would certainly make my own football game.....no doubt about that........hell, i would even try to lure away the NFL license just to eliminate the competition, if i can. however, i will not see or come close to the wealth as big as these companies in my lifetime. i love playing virtual gridiron especially ones with a NFL licensed product.....and in order to get my fix, i only have one game to choose year after year. easier said that done, buddy.......when you have interest in playing the sport you love but the market only offers one choice and that choice ultimately doesn't suit your liking......then you will complain. hey, i'm a customer just like you who demands a great product with our earned money......we deserve the best. however, you are content with the product and i'm not......not everything is going to fit for everyone. please, if we were 360 owners who love baseball games.......you'd probably have the same reply.......and you will have complaints from them to. if only people like you can be able to understand things from a different perspective......then, you'll know why that person is thinking that way.

why the hell dont they have things that they had in the ps2 version of the game? like personal behaviour and comments for each player..newspaper....EA radio.....draft workouts.....WTF? its going backwards and each year we lose something we liked..!!!!!!! also i hate the blank faces that rookies have...computer genarated faces gave the players personality and an identity in the team!!!!!!!

footballgamer, you can do one of two things. 1.) don't buy the game. 2.) make your own damn football game.

I agree with rondoman. They should of had this before stupid ass "rewind".

um, 2K had these same stats in ESPN 2K4 and 2K5 and probably even before that, it's about time Madden gets them.

tell me how great it was.....cause i sure as hell didn't see or experience it!! .....and please don't describe it with the "new features" cause that make your point less valid. i played that game for a little over a month.....just to play the game itself no franchise or anything just the games........and let me tell ya, the physics and mechanics in that game still has a long ways to go before i can label it great. no sure why you think its top notch when it still feels broken. madden 10 needs to tighten up in the gameplay department.....still not to my liking.

I agree that this is something that has been on wish lists for a long time but it may not have been included in past renditions due to not being able to code the game properly to accurately track these stats.

I guarantee everyone will see a gang tackle, check the replay, then the stat sheet to see who got credit for the tackle to ensure the stats are accurate....

Regardless, it is a nice touch if it works properly....

I wish Madden would add classic teams. Still have no idea why a game in 1993 can have over 85 teams but the current gen systems cannot?

this is a long awaited addition... sounds like EA heading in the right direction but until i see gameplay vids around release time and reviews or news about the additions to franchise mode its still gonna be a no purchase year for me. Keep up the good work EA your going in the right direction!

How come shaun alexander has been removed from madden 09??? hes only been released so he sohuld be in the free agency, unless hes retired and madden are the only people who know about it? can anyone elighten me on the situation im a seahawks fan and i still like alexander and is he going to be in the free agency for madden 2010

to be honest the thing im happiest about is that it looks like they took the virtual effect out of the game

big news?.....man, i guess times have changed and people just appreciate anything except for how the game plays......nothing more or less. ea sports games overall has yet to give me reasons to consistently play their games and for that......it still runs the hype machine in full force. apparently, we have a lot of franchise mode players.

well im excited about it. i was sick of guys in superstar mode joining in on my tackles and sacks. they were gettin the stat and i was left w/ nothing at least now player stats will be more spread around. so when guys like freeney and mathis meet at the qb they both will get credit. good job EA that does seem kinda difficult to add to the game(im not bein sarcastic at all). this will make the game way more realistic. i hope thats the theme of this madden instead of that pick up and play arcade syle crap yall put out the past three years. lets get a real football sim. goin here plz?!
