Madden Off-Season Screens Set #2

It’s just the second day of free agency and joining all the signings comes a huge trade as Matt Cassel (along with Mike Vrabel) is sent to the Chiefs with the Patriots receiving their 2nd round pick in return. In the most prominent case of a player identified with a particular team moving on we have Brian Dawkins who joins the Broncos and leaves behind the Eagles who he very much helped to define over the years.

I was only shocked by how little they got in return. I know the goal was to free up some cap space, but I think they should have at least gotten another pick or 2. Maybe this trade was part of Pioli's severance package from the Patriorts?

its all the scheme, the skins play a scheme similar to atl, so hes great here but if you leave him on an island like the raiders 98% man to man scheme hes gonna get ripped. When you give a qb a choice to throw to either asomugha & huffs side or hall and bum ass gibril wilsons side id take that in a heartbeat, when royal torched him i saw wilson out of possition at least half the time but no one ripped him cus he had a ring its a team game and he got all the credit for the secondarys screw ups…

he let him walk so easily last season that it doesnt look like it will happen
but al does have loyalty to his former draft picks so we'll just have to see

way to do your homework, al has a bob dole worthy hardon for his draft picks, but without curry you guys are gonna be pretty thin @ wr, if they were smart they should make a run at marvin harrison…of course until you get a real nfl caliber qb your screwed anyway so its kind of a moot point, but keep the faith bro itll turn around or al davis will kick the bucket either way it will be more entertaining than watching the field goal fest that has become modern raiders games

during the beginning of the season i was going to burn the jamarcus jersey i bought but the last two games of the season, which we beat some pretty decent teams, he actually looked like he was starting to figure it out. his progress depends on the offensive line more than anything.

i think hes made progress but he still has a while, those last two games were an improvement from god awful, not good but better, with the raiders (special teams also higgy is about to blow up) d and johnsons progression into an elite corner the offense wont even need to be average to pull out a few wins, unfortunately i see both denver and san diego sweeping the series so thats gonna make it alot harder…
