T.O. Reportedly Signs With Bills

According to reports Terrell Owens has signed a one year deal with the Buffalo Bills. How will he fare in Buffalo with Trent Edwards as the QB? Does this move make them a contender in the AFC East?

To me this makes some sense in that it is a one year deal so T.O. will be playing for a contract next off-season. But I don’t see how he can be expected to handle playing with a QB that is not nearly as good as the ones he has criticized in the past. One thing is for sure the Bills will have a ton of media focus on them now. Maybe that is what they want, it’s why a team like Jacksonville made sense to me at first. A move like this will sell tickets and merchandise.

In Madden do the Bills now become a popular online team? With Lee Evans on the other side I can see that happening. What do you think?

I'm a Patriots fan but I have always really liked the Bills. I hope you are not getting your hopes up man. He's big trouble in the locker room and it will be interesting to see how he and marshawn lynch mix. I hope he does well because I love the city of Buffalo and they deserve a good team, just don't get your hopes too high. One thing that I think this will do though is give Lee Evans a chance for a pro-bowl type season. He has the talent and now he has the talent around him to really break through. Good luck man, here's to hoping T.O. doesn't destroy another team.

I'm a Patriots fan but I have always really liked the Bills. I hope you are not getting your hopes up man. T.O. or roy williams can't run past anybody with the updated rosters. Marion Barber can get stop in the back field many times cuz his agility is not good to cut back. There safeties is suspect in coverage and you can run the ball on them. When i play with them i have to make like 6 substations to cover there bad faults but the average noob thinking he can just throw it up to T.O. will get punish by me. REAL MADDEN PLAYERS PLAY ALL TEAMS!!!!

KC wasn't too serious unless they got him for cheap and JAC would've signed him but for less money. The deal he got from BUF is ridiculous when you consider that there wasn't really a market for Terrell Owens, but BUF has financial reasons for the signing as they were losing their fan base and have contemplated relocation. The current economy pretty much limits their chance to relocate as no city or state would put together a high incentive package to bring them to their respective location. So they made this move to encourage Buffalo fans to see a team that is supposedly on the move up by adding a celebrity albeit infamous receiver.

I won't knock T.O.'s ability or physical condition but the guy is a cancer. He is selfish. If he doesn't get the ball, he pouts. I feel sorry for the Bills. I know he can bring a ton to the table but I give him five games before he starts to cause issues.

If he keeps his mouth shut and is happy catching 50-60 balls throughout the year, he could be an asset. I just don't see it.

this might be T.O's last chance to clean up his act and better himself……..reading and knowing that there's hardly a market for him this offseason, he should be blessed that a team is willing to gamble on him even for a season…….for better or worse, i believe the Bills made a good move……….the team can't get any better or worse, why not try to do something out of the blue?!?!…….which is what they did…………….now all that's left is to develop a consistent passing game between him and Edward……….he has two solid weapons to throw to, now and NEEDS to step it up!……….should be 7-9 once again or barely get into the playoffs.

For me TO doesn't really matter. He retires after the first year of Franchise mode in Madden and there's no way to keep him around unless I go in and create a new TO which is a waste of time. Good for you Pasta for staying on these offseason moves but unfortunately Madden 09 is just so boring I don't play it any more.
