T.O. Reportedly Signs With Bills

According to reports Terrell Owens has signed a one year deal with the Buffalo Bills. How will he fare in Buffalo with Trent Edwards as the QB? Does this move make them a contender in the AFC East?

To me this makes some sense in that it is a one year deal so T.O. will be playing for a contract next off-season. But I don’t see how he can be expected to handle playing with a QB that is not nearly as good as the ones he has criticized in the past. One thing is for sure the Bills will have a ton of media focus on them now. Maybe that is what they want, it’s why a team like Jacksonville made sense to me at first. A move like this will sell tickets and merchandise.

In Madden do the Bills now become a popular online team? With Lee Evans on the other side I can see that happening. What do you think?

T.O. is gonna freeze his nads off. This will last for 1 year (if that), then he'll be back on the west coast.

Is T.O. selfish? That's up for dispute. Yes he cries when he doesn't get the ball, but that's because he's that good. He just wants to be utilized to his full potential because of the mismatches that he creates.

    • Meeks

Umm, is this sarcasm because T.O clearly is the most selfish football player in the game.

    • pat oak

I have to agree with you jr. A great running back gets what like 300 carries and who knows how many catches. a great wr only gets like maybe 90-100 catches and maybe like 10 carries if even that,

      • Alex Rodriguez

im a little more optimistic about it (redskins fan). I think somewhere like buffalo is going to be great for TO. i think him and trent edwards will make a great duo.

Am I the only Bills fan that doesnt like this move?… TO is a team KILLER and the last thing we need is for him ruin our young team chemistry with his "get me the ball or I'll scream" attitude, I'm just praying that this 1 year contract will make him suck it up for a year and just play football for once and keep his mouth shut. (but I'm sure thats what they thought in dallas)

I am thankful Seattle didn't try to lock him up. Also, I am shocked the Lions, who love WR, didn't go after him. Oh wait, Matt Millen is no longer there….

  • 3bo0o0odi

I wish T.O. would've stayed in Dallas…because honestly im gonna miss LaRon Landry hitting him soo hard…everytime he plays against the Redskins he finds a way to get Jacked Up !
First it was Sean Taylor ( RIP) then it was LaRon…I love how the Redskins defense treated him !

How can a wide reciever be unselfish? T.O. creates mismatches and has the opportunity to put more points on the scoreboard, hence a greater chance of winning. I can understand his argument in the sense that Romo didn't look for him as much as he should have. Now I'm sure that's the sentiment that a lot of wide receivers feel, but T.O. just happens to voice how he feels. I'm more of a basketball man myself, and I do watch football from time to time, but to me it's just like a big man in the post with an undersized defender guarding him, you feed that big man because of the mismatch. T.O. just didn't believe in sacrificing his opportunities and it not converting into wins or meet their expectations. Had the Cowboys won it all, I'm sure T.O. would have been happier with a Super Bowl ring. Discussion?

  • Pettigrew? I hope you draft him that early, so the better players are still on the board when my team drafts.

thank you Lavernius Coles!!! If it wasn't for you choosing the Bungles, we wouldn't have one of the elite WR's in the league this year!
