Madden 10 Screenshot Coming Later Today

Today the first screen from Madden 10 will be released by Peter Moore on his blog. The most interesting aspect of this is how the screen is said to include a look at some additions (as many as six) that have been made to the game. Earlier today on Twitter Ian Cummings strongly hinted that the ever-elusive hand towels would be one of those things. Other possibilities could include hand warmers and the return of refs and the chain gang. The blog posting containing the screen is expected to be up late in the afternoon or early evening.

What additions or improvements do you think the screenshot might display? Feel free to speculate in the comments.

handwarmers about time!! I was getting sick of playing games in snow and freezing weather and players dressed like they are going to the beach!! can they add the same to college football and not cheat the game at the expense of madden!!!

Hopefully, they'll take some pointers from MLB 09 The Show's graphics. If so, they'll be MUCH improved.

If EA put serious resources towards chain gangs at the expense of REAL game play improvements or franchise mode improvements because of all the internet crybabies whining about it I'll be sick to my stomach.

whatever. They're just trying to hype their game. It's gonna be the same game as last year with tweaks here and there. It's like this every year. Madden 10 is gonna suck just like the past 5 years.

Is it just more, or do screen shots really don't have the weight it used to?

If they include hand towels and no chain gangs or refs, then I think you'll see riots start over blogs and forums throughout the video game community.

Who cares about "6 new features" and hand towels and warmers, blah-blah-BLAH.

They've been promising us a bitch smack the coach feature since 1999 and we still haven't gotten it. My question is, why did they show us the feature in the Madden 2000 previews and then release the game without it? How in the hell can all this technology not allow us to bitch smack our coaches on the sidelines?

It's still early so it may still make it in, but if it's not in this year I'm done with Madden.
