Do you see Moreno being available at the number 18 pick for Denver, and if so do you think they take him?

I Respect your opinion but there is a gap between westbrook and tomlinson. that favors tomlinson of course. alex smith went ahead of rodgers cause first rodgers had acurracy problems throwing the deep ball and a mechanical delivery not nowhere the athlete that smith was at qb. I could have sworn smith had pretty good arm strength as no one will take a qb #1 overall with no arm.

Alex Smith had too many concerns over his arm strength, size and athletic ability they only took him because SF wanted an "West Coast" styled QB and Aaron Rogers didn't fit the description. Remember they were going to take Rogers simply because of him arm and size but backed off and went with Smith. Another example of need vs talent. Also your previous argument as to why Moreno can't be a top 5 RB because of his speed is ridiculous. The final 40 time is not all that important what you watch for is how quickly they start get to top speed and maintain it. Moreno is in the mold of a Westbrook and Tomlinson in that they are football players not track stars. If Moreno can stay away from injuries he will be a special player in the league.

Im not exactly sure what your talking about raji is a defensive tackle
and the broncos had one of the best offensive lines last year so really
orton will be fine behind our line

lol Adrian Peterson had injury concerns that caused him to fall out of the top picks he had 2 injuries with shoulder in 2 seasons and an ankle injury. Alex Smith had a break out year at Utah and was considered at that time the best qb in the draft you dont pass on a franchise qb is the rule of thumb in the nfl draft. Dewayne Robertson went to Kentucky and was a top prospect not heard of cause obviously the blue grass state is more known for basketball than the pigskin. teams are built for needs in late first to the second round some projects are taken in the second round round.

Okay Okafor43 teams do not always take the "best" player when they have a top 5 pick. There are too many examples to refute your point such as Gaines Adams over Adrian Peterson in 2007, Alex Smith over Braylon Edwards in 2005, and Dewayne Roberts over Terrell Suggs in 2003. These were all drafted for needs instead of overall talent. Teams do the what I like to call the "Sam Bowie Syndrome" draft meaning they draft to fill needs instead of taking the best player. Later in the draft normally day 2 is when teams will start to take the best athlete.

I think so also. stafford is literally walking in a lions den! its not like the lions will be good anyway this year. why not take smith loose like they always do and have a shot at the kid from oklahoma bradford next year with atleast an oline to stop the daily blitz's
