  • The cover athletes for Grand Slam Tennis have been revealed to be John McEnroe, Roger Federer, and Serena Williams. A couple new screenshots can be found in the gallery [click here]
  • The Inside EA Blog has a video recap of the Madden 10 Community Event that took place yesterday [click here]
  • ESPN has an extensive article about the lengths Tiger Woods 10 has gone in replicating the terrain of the golf courses and a great comparison screen [click here]
  • ESPN also has an interview with Prince Fielder who was announced as the cover athlete for The BIGS 2 earlier this week [click here]
  • Wii MotionPlus will be out in July which means it will miss the releases of Tiger Woods 10 and Grand Slam Tennis. It’ll be interesting to see how well those games are received without it and then how perspectives change once switching over to M+.
  • Amazon continues to list NCAA Football 10 at $49.99 for the 360 and PS3. From what I’ve been able to gather this is an error on Amazon’s part and not a price drop, however it is curious and warrants monitoring as it remains unchanged.

I don't think EA would ever even consider selling NCAA Football for $50. All of the EA Sports titles are only getting more popular so there's no reason to drop the price. That would just be a sign that they are putting less effort into the game in the first place.

Spaghetti and Friends aka. Pasta Padre what about that weak boxing game? You know it's weak so why promote it? That online game has too many flaws. Everybody in the game is from Russia and have been playing for 20 years, you pick a boxer and everybody beats him into submission over and over like it's some kind of gang initiation. Has absolutely nothing to do with boxing. It's more like WWE with atari 2600 graphics.

I've been asking about this too and still haven't gotten a clear answer. I hope the swing animation matches the new putting mechanic, both for the Wii and the PS3/360 versions. The backswing and follow-through speeds/lengths should closely match the movement of the wii-remote or left stick. I don't see how it will work effectively otherwise.

In the ESPN article about Tiger 10 they refer to 16 courses in the game this year… I think that's the same number of courses as 09. I know there are supposed to be some new courses this year, so that means we lose a few courses. If that's the case I'm disappointed there is no net increase in courses this year.
