The Four NCAA Football 10 Cover Athletes

The official announcements are only a couple hours away but most of the covers for NCAA Football 10 are out. Gamestop has posted up all of them except the 360 version. On the PSP it is USC QB Mark Sanchez and the PS2 is Texas DE/OLB Brian Orakpo. Already known was Utah QB Brian Johnson who captured the PS3 version.

I’ll be updating this posting when the final cover athlete is revealed. All signs point to that being Michael Crabtree. Thanks for bryan121 for the tip.

Update: Despite EA advertising that all the covers would be revealed on College Football Live today they only announced Brian Johnson. Apparently now this is “cover week”.

Crabtree will be it , the other possibilities are Beanie, Knowshon, and Stafford. Stafford probablly won't be it because two other QB's are occupying NCAA covers. Beanie and Knowshon probably won't because there was a RB on the cover last year so Crabtree seems like the only ideal choice.

I'm with you on that one. Never understood what the big deal was anyway. But I do like the new style. Looks a lot better than the past covers. They could put a Division III scrub on the cover and I wouldn't care as long as the game is tight and an improvement, showing that they actually worked to make the game better.

Don't worry, man. As long as they put an effort to keep the PS3 version on par with the Xbox360 version all will be well. It's just a cover. The game inside is the most important part. I do agree Brian Johnson is weak, but like I said, it's just a cover…who cares.

I also really don't care about the players they pick, but I LOVE the new art design. They kind of remind me of a series of NFL posters that were available back in the 70's for each team. They were awesome, each individually painted in different styles. I wish I could find them again.

This years covers look really nice… I always used to use custom covers but this year I might just keep the ones they got.
