Madden 10 Debut Trailer

Gametrailers has posted up the first trailer for Madden NFL 10 and it displays some of the improvements made to the game via footage pulled from gameplay. The video shows off much of what was on display Thursday at the EA Sports Season Opener. Those are aspects primarily related to Pro-Tak which is a new tackling animation system. Large numbers involved in gang tackles, dragging tacklers, pile pushing, and fumble pileups come out of that technology.Those are just some of the things you’ll see in the debut trailer.

That was 06. When EA has the license to themselves why do you think they are gonna give you everything you want in 1 year. Its economics fellas. They have a monopoly so with out competition they are just gonna spoon feed us some bs each year. You think they really need your dumbass suggestions that some of yall send them. No. They have a whole list of upgrades that they are going to slowly put in until they have a competitor. Get over it.

there are a few new touches….i don't see anything thats got me itching to play it…..
Funny thing about NFL2K5….I still have it….and have thrown it in every now and then and played it….its still pretty damn good…..and for anyone who never played 2K5….not all pro football cause that was straight up shit…..but 2K5….if you actually played it for more than 5 min….you would know it was damn good….and if you don't….then you just don't know real football and never played it…and should just stick to arcade madden and keep your mouth shut….
Anyway….i still like to play with my steelers so I pick up madden anyway….
This game looks funny….i don't know about these gang tackles getting broke….i don't remember guys breaking away from 2 defenders that have the arms on them that often….maybe here and there…but I hope its not a regular thing in this game….with the stupid full back dives and qb sneaks its next to impossible to stop a team on 3rd or 4th and 2 or even 3 yrds sometimes….that sucks….especially with the homo's that go for it on 4th everytime…..

well its nice to see a whole bunch of bitches complaining again. bottom line most of you are stupid and payed no attention to the trailer. the game looks alot more better than 09. And the one scene were corner got burnt its because he press the reciever and for Fitz he's the best reciever in the game i doubt 1 corner is going to stick on him although it did look like the corner was going to swat at the ball at the end. Either way all of you bitches stop compaining and wait for the game to come out because me personly i cant wait it looks real cool and alot more realistice then the other ones and plus its the end of april i doubt there actually finish with the game. Peace im out and you can hate cause i dont give damn and i would probably end up beating in Madden 10 any ways.

Pasta, These guys are nuts. This madden has everything that you have been asking for. 09 WAS A GOOD GAME, if this is an imporved Madden 09 i'm all for it. It has pile ups and actually gang tackling that looks awesome. You guys are nuts if you cant see that.

Im just hoping that my 90 speed corner doesnt get run down by a 60 speed lineman after an interception. And my 6'6" receiver can out jump a 5'10 corner.

im lovin the trench warfare im seein. de's wont just run aruond a tackle, they actuaully kick out and pass protect. the animations look sick.. four man tackles!!!!!!!!!!! it looks like power backs will actually be effective in this game

"How can you still consider a system that no one has made a game for in over 2 years (Xbox) and another one that gets games sporadically (PS2) as "current-gen"?"………..now, this depends on the person and how they truly see what is next-gen. Everyone has their own definition and you made yours. However, I and many others label PS2 and Xbox as "current gen" because the "current-gen" that you consider "next-gen" is not truly next-gen. I've yet to see anything in the "current-gen" Madden that would validate a huge leap from one gen to another. Animations, graphics, and features……many see the "current-gen PS3/x360" as a mere upgrade……which should have been featured in the game already. I believe that to be considered a "next-gen"…..Madden would have to deliver what they'd promised….which was first set from the promo video of Madden 06 for the x360. So far, many have yet to see the current game meet up with its promo counterpart. Madden 08 on the "next-gen" was considered a return of features lost in the last two previous iterations. So, in that sense, it didn't made a huge transition. Again, you are entitle to your own and so do I……..everyone has their own opinion.

i play football for a pretty good d2 team bloomsburg huskies look it up. and i just gotta say from my experience there are very few solo tackles in football every run play especially up the middle usually ends up with the oline pushing the pile forward and the defense trying to push the pile backwards. im an olineman so i always like to see some realistic oline play and the interactions between the oline and dline look sweet. thats football man the battle on the line you cant have a football game without it maybe EA finally realized it. i have always been a 2k5 fan because of that fact and the gangtackling was sweet. but i gotta say im really pumped for this game and its only fuckin april 25th.

people on here is idots. It is only april and people are acting like this is the final version. Yall should be looking for the NCAA 10 gameplay trailer and breaking that down since we are closer to that dead line. This trailer showed a lot of things the past maddens has been missing.Wr reaching for the catches,corner backs having real footwork coming out there stance, Wr doing moves to get past the bump and run,having a pocket for pocket QB’s, and yall already saw the the minor things they fix week to week with fixing FB dives. Yall saw the refs being part of the game i mean da*m wat else u want for april. This year and last year they have done way more to the game then 10 years combined. The people that complain the most dont even know football never played it for real. Im not saying greatest game ever already but it has improvements. PATIONS PEOPLE!!!!!!

Thank you, these people have been complaining about real gang tackling for years. this is the first game EVER to have more than 2 people in a gang tackle animation. That includes 2k. I doubt it will happen all the time they just wanted to show us it was in the game. Oh and running backs break tackles all the time, just look at Adrian Peterson highlights. Fools
