Madden 10 Debut Trailer

Gametrailers has posted up the first trailer for Madden NFL 10 and it displays some of the improvements made to the game via footage pulled from gameplay. The video shows off much of what was on display Thursday at the EA Sports Season Opener. Those are aspects primarily related to Pro-Tak which is a new tackling animation system. Large numbers involved in gang tackles, dragging tacklers, pile pushing, and fumble pileups come out of that technology.Those are just some of the things you’ll see in the debut trailer.

The trailer is ok. Im just afraid that the running back dragging the pile might get a little bit to casual. I just don't want to see that every time a RB is close to getting a first down.

It still amazes me how many people consider the Xbox & PS2 as "current-gen". The new ones have been out for 3.5 years now… let the "last-gen" go, puh..lease.

Oh.. you missed my point. I'm just saying that's it's time (and has been for about 2 years) to quit calling the Xbox 360 & PS3 "next-gen". They are very much "current-gen" now and have been for some time. I'd expect word on true "Next-Gen" (ie: Xbox 760/PS4) in about 2 years.

I've had to go back to my Xbox games for the past week & a half due to the RRoD and there's very much a difference.

I just find it bizarre that people are still calling the systems that are clearly the current group of gaming consoles as "next-gen". Technology is advancing quickly and so should our terminology. I consider the day of mass release for a console the moment it becomes "current". I know that's unrealistic, but I'd like to see the "gen" transition happen within the 1st 3-6 months, at least.

i think it looks pretty good, all you people have said year in and year out is you dont care about the graphics you just want gameplay and now after seeing a trailer you are all down on the game.

BTW, please go back & look at the original NFL2K game on the DREAMCAST. the dirt on the uniform,able to see the breath during the cold,all of this back in 2000.. now tell me how long it took for madden to add those little things??

That didnt look good at all. Few positive things, but animations arestil horrible and robotic. Dragging the pile looks like the guys are stomping grapes to make win. They are doing the exact same thing. It looks funny.
