IGN has released an article that goes over in more detail the Teambuilder mode that was revealed yesterday and shown at the EA Sports Preview Event. This mode takes the basic create-a-school to another level. Check out the full article here.

This week in New York City EA Sports revealed TeamBuilder, a reworked Create-a-School feature that incorporates new technology and mechanics to bring your created squad into NCAA Football 10. Cooler still is the fact that fans of the collegiate videogame series will be able to create their dream program well before the game hits store shelves.

In conjunction with ncaaStrategies we will have a video interview with NCAA Football 10′s Ben Haumiller about both Teambuilder and Season Showdown on Monday when the embargo lifts.

Exactly, there should be some sort of point limit…..that you can only max out every player to about 80-85….that would be the best thing to do

I'm thinking there will be a limit on how ur players are rated when you create a team for the online dynasty. I doubt they let everyone have players all rated 99.

Team Builder looks like a heaven sent dream, although the game play itself did look a lot like NCAA 09. Can someone explain to me why of all the EA sports franchises, the NCAA series seems to be the most consistently ground breaking year after year this generation?

And with the amount of teams/stadiums it has to have incorporated every year, its a joke that Madden cant at least keep up. It would appear it takes less game code to input, so therefore it should have more.

thats my problem with Madden… I havent played Madden in 2 years, and I love pro ball or than college… its just, college is just better to me. Like Madden is all pumped about having Wildcat formation in the game LOL. Ronnie Brown has been running that for 2 years, and Josh Cribbs for years for the Browns. In college you can put multiple people at different positions, its a video game for gods sake… Mix it up. Thats why I liked it when 2k was in comp w/ them, it made them better. Madden 07 is Madden 08, 09… and it looks like 10 also. They need to get with the makers of college LOL, they get it

I've never understood the whole rating fascination. I always change the ratings when I get the game. Am I unique in this?

I change the ratings some, just not a bunch. I was currious more as a benchmark. Like I was wondering which guys were the 99's. It's something to tie me over for three months.

I guess it's more for the people who play online. In ranked online matches, you have to play with the default ratings, so it could impact what team you choose.

How are we to build our team before the game is released??? I don’t understand that at all.

When the website is live you can go in and start developing your logos and such. For example, I'm going to create my high school and I've already got my two PNG files formatted correctly.

So you already have all your roster and uniforms and such planned out. I'm going to see how the feature is before I post what I plan to do.

My roster is the best player per position when I was in high school. That's the easiest part of the deal for me. The logos I have been collecting since this news broke, and I went to IGN and they said you need a 256×256 PNG file that needs to be converted to a 128×128 PNG file. So basically, I have about 4-5 pictures that are ready to go!

I agree to me it's better overall then the NO.Fun.League. But wow you went the extra mile with this one. I just hope that EA finally decides to do away with the useless Campus Legend mode. Its just a College version of Head Coach and I for one hate it. Pasta you have to tell the fine folks at EA to remove this feature since its taking up ram space for a decent Dynasty mode.(Sorry about that Shomari I just had to get that rant out.)

I agree with you as far as Campus Legend goes. IF they overhaul it and make it worth playing then, I'm ok with it taking up space. However, if they spent that space in expanding the Dynasty mode (stadium upgrades, coordinators, facilities, etc) then I say scrap CL mode.
