Full Player Ratings for Madden 10 Rookies

EA Sports has released a document that lists out the player ratings for all the rookies. This isn’t just the overall numbers but breaks it down for every single rating category. This is a good opportunity to understand the new ratings philosophy which has stretched out ratings with a bigger discrepancy between great, good, mediocre, and poor players. The overall rating doesn’t always reflect how effective a player is within their skill set.
Given the timing in development it has been stated that changes will be made to some of the players. They will continue to be evaluated and/or adjusted based on where they ended up going in the draft. I love madden fans who argue about speed ratings.
i dont think they realise how easily they can just change the ratings themselves when the game comes out.
they give you the player, you give them the ratings…..simple.

i think that the ratings are all fair! not only are the rookies suffering this year in ratings but the whole game ratngs for every player in madden is different! i like wat they re doing let the stars be stars! plus if you dont' like wat they rat em change it to ur likein once the game comes out! stop bitchen! now i only hope this year madden ratings will reflect on how the player actually plays when u play with him! so i dont expect to see a dt who speed rating is 59 run down pat white like on the old versions! and could they please get tony romo speed rating correct to the guy ran a 4.8 in the forty but on madden 09 wen u play against him online he runs like he vick! WTF!! i hate romo!! only guys lyk tavaris jackson senaca wallcepat white dennis dixson should have fast speed ratings! i remeber wen a guy had eli mannig scramble for 16 yards plus he ran ova guys lyk he tebow! lol

hey all!! if you upload the ncaa09 roster to madden 09 (changing underclassmen status to seniors as well), will they be playable in exhibitions or ONLY in franchise mode?? Also, anyone have ratings for Mike Teel, Tiquan Underwood, Jason McCourty, Graham Harrell, and Chase Daniels?

This is rediculous…. Duke Robinson was a 5th round pick and an 80 ovr. while Phil Loadholt was a 2nd rounder and a 71 ovr.

Guys need to stop comparinf guys speed from last year to this year. Because almost everybody's speed rating is coming down a good amount.

Please tell me these screen shots of the rookies arent their actuall faces in the game. Alll the black players look wrong! That doesnt look anything like percy harvin, he's way too light skinned and the same with all the rest of them, they are all too light skinned. That doesnt look like michael crabtree at all! Come on EA you can do better then that.

its too soon to be discussing ratings. plus the ratings have been slightly adjusted for Madden 10, looking at Maden 09 doesn't give you much to go on. Power Backs can have big games with 82 speed, so I guess everybody has had speed lowered, unless you are nationally and statistically rated FAST. Shon Greene- Doak Walker Award for best running back- 82 speed 87 trucking (of course, I mention a JET)

these ratings are a joke, especially the speed rating for most players. once again madden let us down
and i find it funny how compared to last years rookie ratings, this years' sucks especially for the number one overall pick matthew stafford who is only like a 79 overall

alrite ill set this straight out for all the madden nation crew members who had an effect on the rookie ratings. Stafford signs a HUGE contract deal weeks before the draft and u give him a 79 overall rating? Knowshon Moreno was the first RB picked in the draft with amazing ELU, ACC, and AGI and he only has an 86 speed? And Brian Cushing who was taken what 14th? He doesnt deserve a 75 rating if Ray Maeluga got an 80 even though he was drafted in the second round!!!!!!! THESE RATINGS ARE TERRIBLE

why is it that on ncaa 09 percy harvin is 98 speed but now hes only 97 thats bull if there going to lower somebodys speed its Heyward Bey just to piss off Al Davis the Raiders owner and why is all the pictures of there college number i know for a fact percy harvin is number 12 and loadholt is 71. its all a bunch of shit if Ea isnt ready to post real pics dont show them yet i want to see a real one not a fake one the pulled out of their ass.

They said that the ratings are going to be lower and the players are going to be slower, they said in madden 10 if a player is in the 70's he is still a average player so less people will be in the 90's and more will be in the 80's and 70's.

Someone please tell me why Deon Butler Penn St reciever now a beloved seahawk has a 93 speed rating… he ran a unofficial 4.28 but clocked out at a 4.34 it was in the top five of fastest 40 times in this year combine for a wr … Seattle drafted him for that reason his speed to stretch the field more this season. We finnally get a burner since Galloway and you guys gives us a 93 cmon what gives ? I understand the new ratings blah blah blah but he ran a faster time than Percy Harvin and Jeremy Maclin they both have a 96 or 97 cmon ea atleast give him a 97 to have the speed weapon. Can someone explain to me why this happen…….

Y is madden do n player ratings super wrong…such as speed and strength..and specially wut I dnt get is…players dat run fast 4o times is gettin slower speeds den players who ran slowe 4o times…anything 4rm 4.2-4.35 shud b speed 95-99..may b even 100…so y do dey do that…and I undastand sum players have games speed which is different 4rm 40..but most dnt have dat..crabtree has game speed..but wut is it in tha game??? And tha ratings ridiculous..I dnt kare wut no 1 say..D.hall overall shud not b n no 60s…he shud b n tha 80s wit catchin speed and jump..but his awareness shud b shit poo

chase daniel should at least be 75 overall he was one on the top 5 quarterbacks fo the last 2 years im still pissed off because no one drafted him. mostly because he is only 6ft
