Full Player Ratings for Madden 10 Rookies

EA Sports has released a document that lists out the player ratings for all the rookies. This isn’t just the overall numbers but breaks it down for every single rating category. This is a good opportunity to understand the new ratings philosophy which has stretched out ratings with a bigger discrepancy between great, good, mediocre, and poor players. The overall rating doesn’t always reflect how effective a player is within their skill set.

Given the timing in development it has been stated that changes will be made to some of the players. They will continue to be evaluated and/or adjusted based on where they ended up going in the draft. Whatever dude, Madden is not a crappy game. It's just the most scrutinized game in the industry because of how many copies it sells every year. It's not perfect. Never will be. And they should be ashamed for their first effort on the next gen consoles, but they've gotten better and other than that year, it's always been a good to great experience every year. NOT PERFECT! No game is perfect. I think the HALO series is highly overrated, but I'd never say that on a board about HALO because it's pointless. Obviously a lot of people play it and love it and that's all that matters. Same goes with Madden.

Whatever dude, Madden is not a crappy game. It's just the most scrutinized game in the industry because of how many copies it sells every year. It's not perfect. Never will be. And they should be ashamed for their first effort on the next gen consoles, but they've gotten better and other than that year, it's always been a good to great experience every year. NOT PERFECT! No game is perfect. I think the HALO series is highly overrated, but I'd never say that on a board about HALO because it's pointless. Obviously a lot of people play it and love it and that's all that matters. Same goes with Madden.

Dude its because Thomas is on the Redskins! Come on dude you should know this by now anytime someone comes on the Redskins and they add them to the roster they lower there ratings! Look Deangelo Halls speed from a 99 to a 95! Now he is only a 68 overall in madden 10! London Fletcher even dropped points this year! So did Landry, Rogers, Smoot, Mcintosh, Carter just on the defensive side of the ball not including offense but they did blow last season so whatever on offense but the defense was on the field most of every game and was 4th ranked in the league!

These ratings cant be final..Every rookie that was not a first rounder..is in the 60s, 50s, and low 70s….the Madden guys will have to take in account how players will be used and then rate them…like some db's that are not so fast corners and will play safety, or safeties that will play linebacker, and linebackers that will be edge rushers..I guess its ok for now until the 1st update…the rookies got no love this year, besides the top ten picks..

Im a Raiders fan. Two years ago Jamarcus Russel was an 86 overall rookie — completely unproven. Check the stats of last roster update in 09 and hes low-mid 70's. Rookies should earn the overall ratings, not get a high rating to start and be decreased as they show their true colors.
