FNR4 Demo Footage

With the FNR4 demo now available to those who preordered through Gamestop there are a bunch of new videos making their way out. So far it seems as if the impressions of the game are mixed from those who have played the demo and the comments made from watching the footage. From my short time having played the game it is graphically and technically impressive and certainly seemed fun but the issues being noted appear to be justified.

I went through and located a few of the demo videos that are up so far. Continue on to watch them and leave your thoughts in the comments.

yeah sad to say it does…everyone punches the same, everyone sways and moves the same…do they even have signature punches? At least UFC did offer that in it's fist go around. Player specific strikes that make the fighters who they are.

Yall like guys being on top of each other and grabbing each other more than boxing, yall are real men. Umm watch the UFC videos, they punch the exact same way as each other. I have no clue what you are watching. Second, these two boxers are in the same weight class so thus they are going to have the same punches. Third, it's a DEMO, which is used to point out bugs or issues from an EARLY version of the game. The UFC game is exactly the same as the demo which was far from appealing. It's easily FNR4 for me and it's not even close. I love how every FNR4 thing always somehow turns to the UFC game because of some lame douchebags who walk around with that clothing on thinking they are some type of badass and think that UFC is the greatest thing to ever come around

Cant say one is the demo which will be the same as the final game and turn around and say that the other is just a demo and the final game will be better.

I'll be curious to see people's impressions of whether FNR4 is that much better than FNR3 to justify a purchase. I didn't really see get that feeling watching these demos.

I hate when poeple play the game & don't know anything about boxing! If you want to play an arcade boxing game then go play punchout or something. No boxer in real life just charges his opponent & throws punches non stop! You can't even get a feel for the game by watching these vids because that's not real boxing. No foot work, no taking control of the ring, no defense, etc… If you play with strategy then you can truely appreciate the game.

I kind of knew it would be a major letdown like FNR3 was when it first leaped to next-gen. I would take the PS2 version for it deeper Legacy mode and overall playability.

eh….the last 2 vids were pretty good ..i like the game……it dosent remind me of fn3 at all ….punches missing were a treat to see….the body shots could be better…..and the judges at the end the game were pretty on point as well……but i can wait ti the 28 for the demo to go public…no rush…

They really need to slow this thing down a good deal. Boxing is not about 2 guys standing neck /neck throwing unlimited amount of punches until 1 falls down. You should be gasping for air after the amount of punches these guys thrown in 1 rd. They need to really make people suffer the consaquences for throwing these amount of punches. Make it so that a noob who just wants to run up to you and throw 1000 punches gets murdered by a smart strike/block/move boxer.

It probably was just that the people playing have no clue about boxing and are playing it like its a outside brawl. IMO So its really stuff for me to judge this game on what Im seeing.

Exactly what I'm saying! Also just to add to that, if someone gets clocked by an uppercut then it should take way more power from your opponent. These guys are just landing uppercut after hook & there's not enough damage taken. I'm sure the game will be fun be it seems like it's a little on the arcade side which is what I hoped they would've corrected.
