Madden 10 Top Player Ratings

Last month I was able to break some ratings via Twitter while at an NFL hosted luncheon. Those ratings though were not finalized and have been tweaked continuously since. ESPN has obtained the finalized top 10 rated players at some of the positions and even break it down displaying some of the individual ratings categories. These are the official ratings that will be shipped with the game. As usual there will be a release day roster update but generally that adjusts player movement more than ratings.

While the ratings are stretched out this year that change isn’t really displayed with these since the premiere players remain in the 90s. What do you think of these ratings? Leave your thoughts in the comments.

what the hell! TJ had 112 receptions in 2007. And they drop him to a top 20 reciver because damn Palmer got hurt.Their replacement Fitzpatrick didn't know what the hell to do on the feild, throwing it to the sideline every play.

It's the same old Madden. If one player gets hurt,their dropped no question. But since king Brady has 3 super bowls on his mantle you shouldnt drop him.

ok LT was hurt and had a bad year he didnt drop that much … he almost took his team 18-0 and has 3 rings and not to mention is world class guy … Peyton over rated all u gotta do is blitz him the whole game

Drew Brees should be a 98 if Brady is a 98

actually drew brees should be a 99 if peyton manning is a 99. he out played manning the whole year. If you look at the stats brees is ahead of him in every category but Completion percentage. he is only one or 2% less and that is because the saints go deep alot.

not to mention the 35 TD's brees threw compared to manning 27

How is calvin johnson not AT LEAST a 96 he is probably the most talanted reciever in the game. HE better get moved up after he starts the season w/ a 2TD performanc (which he will) and rivers is completely underated, he's an elite QB and (even tho i love him) ed reed isnt a 99-shud b 98 and patrick willis should be a 99 along w/ ware

i like them because it makes the game realer i mean who wants to be a loser and make every body on their team good. i know i like a challenge every now and then but i like it how you can actually see and fell your weaknesses on a game.

How is tony romo's rating so low when he through 25 touchdowns(thats more than Mcnabb and carson palmer) while missing 3 games and he's lower than Donavan Mcnabb come on

i like the fact that they are getting rid of all the 90's except for the actual elite players in the league. I can understand if Tom Brady was in the top ten but not the second best QB in the game. Noone knows if Brady will have a good season coming off knee surgery. Daunte Culpepper had a similar injury in Minnesota in 2005 and look at where he is now. Tom Brady should be about a 94 overall not a 98

I was just looking at Randy Moss and i just dont understand why is he the 4 wr on the game no brady last year and still 68 balls and 1000 yards moss is the best in our time just look at his stats 99 last year 96 this year he still should be 99!!!!!!
