First Madden 10 Gameplay Footage

IGN has posted up the first gameplay video from Madden 10. In it the Eagles visit Dallas in the new Cowboys Stadium. Amongst what can be seen is pre-game, the coin-toss, a fumble pile-up, adjusted camera, and how Pro-Tak is positively affecting multiple areas of the game. Much is skipped over so it doesn’t display the full scope of the upgrade to presentation that will be seen in the build at E3.

The Season Showdown vid was excellent. Although NCAA may not have the features Madden has this year, the animations and visuals are impressive….

Looks great! They edited out some pregame stuff though. Hammond is terrible though he is so lifeless it’s unbearable

In my opinion the NCAA vid showed gimmicky features that I will never use. I wasn't impressed.

The graphics on the crowd still are a bummer, but everything else looks great…can't wait to play it

Hammonds still sounds robotic, which is a tad disappointing. The editing is very poor, especially when he announces the "Philadelphia squares off against …. Dallas"

Usually EA is strong in this area…Hopefully this is looked at….

Outside of that, the vid looks AWESOME!!…Not going to judge the visuals as I have found they typically look much better when playing….Most excited I have been about Madden in years….

All I can say is IT'S ABOUT TIME EA! THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN ABOUT! If I had to pick one thing I didn't like about the vid it would be that the gameplay looked a little sketchy. I seriously hope the framerate doesn't get sacrificed by all these great additions. Hopefully they will iron out the kinks but otherwise great job EA! I haven't been this excited about Madden in years!
