And both those jerseys came out 07-08, Warrior sticks were not in 07, Pikke Rinne did not play for Nashville in 07, nor did Ryan Jones, there were no jersey tucks in 07, those pads came out this year, etc, etc, etc.

with the GM mode do they mean hire actual coaches, like if I had the wings, would it actually say I have Mike Babcock under contract?

definitely getting this one. i still play 09.

and idk why some people think hockey's boring to watch. its a lot more fast pace than football..
the whole nhl is just better ran than other leagues. and everyone (gross generalization) in the nba is a crybaby.

Outside of the most recent NHL games, the NHL games I enjoyed the most were:

1) NHL Hockey (the first for the Genesis)
2) NHL 94 on Genesis
3) NHL 98 on Playstation (the graphics and presentation were awesome)
4) NHL 2000 on the PC

The NHL developers have made this series one of the best on consoles and it looks even better this year. Not a soccer fan but FIFA is right there.
