  • Some Fight Night Round 4 patch news as word comes that the stamina problem, seen primarily with online play, will be addressed in a patch. As to the button controls being added with DLC they continue to string that out saying that they are still investigating the possibility.
  • With the full reveal of Road to Glory mode for NCAA Football 10 several media outlets provided previews. You can check out the takes on it from TeamXbox and ESPN. The leaderboards sound like a particularly nice addition but I remain concerned that any position outside of the premiere ones on offense will continue to be neglected.
  • A patch for Tiger Woods 10 is expected to be out tomorrow with info coming from Back Nine Blog. It appears most of the items are balancing issues that should help improve the experience especially online.
  • There may be points during this evening or the next few days where the site goes into maintenance mode. Improvements to the site are being made so if you come to that message check back a little later on. Thanks for understanding!

It's great that they are fixing online balancing issues in TW 10, but another area of concern should be offline PGA Season mode scores and the fact the developers made Tiger an unstoppable force in the season as well. This is for the 360/PS3 version of the game…haven't played on Wii.

I'm in the FedEx Cup 'playoffs' and he has won at least 10 of the season tourneys (and he didn't even take part in all of them). TW won the San Diego Tournament @ Torrey Pines with a four-day score of -42!

Also, Anthony Kim won the US Open @ Bethpage…supposedly the hardest test in golf…with a -29 score.

When playing Tour Pro difficulty, there's no way you can get these scores.

And Pro difficulty mode seems way too easy…I shot a 58 in that mode. Still, that was good enough to be only one shot ahead of the field in the first FedEx Cup event @ Bethpage!

As far as the scores, the AI adjusts its scores to you, so if you shoot an amazing score in the first round it will adjust and the other players will start shooting amazing scores. Same thing happens when you score poorly. When I first started playing I shot a 78 in the first round and the leader shot a 66. The next round and rounds after that all the scores were in the high 70's.

Don't know why they do this. You should be able to turn this option off! Just makes the tournaments unrealistic.

But this is the one game I actually play on my Wii and it's amazing with the motion control plus! Feels like you're really golfing!

I don't think this is true on the 360 version…I shot -6 after two rounds playing on Tour Pro difficulty and was cut from the event!

-6 isn't anything special for a two-round total, yet the cut line was at -7!

AI scores are just too low regardless of what you shoot…I simmed that event that Tiger shot -42 in, so I didn't play that tourney at all.

What is the fascination with Erin Andrews? 1st off she's built like a straw wrapper, 2nd she' not pretty in the face and 3rd she doesn't even present sports all that well. Why does the media keep feeding us this BS that women have to have blonde hair, blue eyes, high cheekbones and rail thin? If she was at a club with 100 women she would be #99 on my list of who to talk too, right after #98 the girl with dentures and right before #100 the transvestite with the Michael Jackson jacket.

and for the record Mo Diddley won't get that far because Mo Diddley always gets the top 3 ladies Mo Diddley targets!

That said she still is one of the better sports personalities on ESPN, after Rachel Nichols and Molly Qerim.

I didn't mean it as a disrespectful comment towards Michael Jackson, may his soul rest in peace, but as comment on how we view what is beautiful and what is not.

So if Erin Andrews is a 10 in everyone's book then i guess I've been dealing with 20's and 30's in my life. I mean come on people her body. She has less curves than box of toothpicks. In fact she's built like a Coka Cola can, you know straight up and down. Her butt resembles the inside of a deep dish bowl. I've seen more body on a 1985 salvaged flooded Yugo than on Erin Andrews on her best day.

Also my comment was about how they keep trying to feed us these women doing sports who have no business in that field. I remember the reporter who asked Mike Singletary how it felt to receive a call from Bill Walsh after he got his 1st head coaching job in San Francisco. What was wrong with her question? Only the fact that Bill Walsh passed away 1 year and 3 months to the day she asked her question.

"She has less curves than box of toothpicks." Mo Diddley may have spoken, but Mo Diddley needs to open Mo Diddley's eyes. Try viewing http://blogs.suntimes.com/sportsprose/erinandrews... to see if Mo Diddley is right or not.

I contend that Erin Andrews is all full of curves. I contend that if Erin Andrews went strolling by Mo Diddley, Mo Diddley would find loads of curves on Erin.

Wow! Is that the best pic you could find? You just emphasized me point about her lack of curves. A padded A-cup bra with hunched shoulders and a flat buttocks that only shows a sharp right angle when she steps forward is not curvy a woman Jesse. Just admit it Jesse you have never been with or seen a woman up close enough to determine curves from a right angle. Oh, dude…

Pam Oliver is a great sideline reporter, but that backside is not what I call curvy. It's more like "full".

Anyway, padding an A cup bra does not make one hunch over. Real breasts weigh more than pads. Hunching over is due to back muscle fatigue.

          HA!

I wasn't saying that her shoulders are hunched because of her A-cups; What I'm saying is that her posture is horrible and it's definitely not because of her A-cup padded bra. To each's own on whether you think she is the top standard for all women to be judged by but the facts stand on her lack of curves.

Also how would you know she has back muscle fatigue? Hmmmm sounds like you might be a stalker buddy

But on to real matters regarding "Road To Glory"…

The way that ESPN writer Jon Robinson wrote the piece, you'd think he's never played NCAA 08 or 09 before. He sounded so excited! The TeamXBox was a more direct discussion about features, but honestly, there just isn't enough new content here. The dorm room is a regurgitated feature from 08, and the video highlight documentation/Erin Andrews thingy sounds rather lame. Who needs to see old news?

The folks who build this game need to seriously call their buddies up in Canada and ask them how they built the very useful and popular NHL Be A Pro mode. I played that last fall and fell in love with it.

I second that too. The practice mode was only really necessary when trying to move up on the depth chart. Otherwise, there was no benefit to it whatsoever.
