As much as I wasn't that enthused about the Season Showdown feature, since actually seeing it work I have grown to enjoy it. I think this feature has helped improve variety of team choices while playing online. I haven't seen Florida with the frequency I saw last year....

GO IRISH!!!

Pasta,

Not to beat this issue to a pulp but I was thinking about what you reported in regards to Ian Cummings' reasoning for shortening the public demo from two-minute quarters to one-minute quarters.

If I remember correctly, you stated that the reasoning for shortening the public demo, per Ian, is that there is fear that people would enjoy the demo so much that they would not purchase the game.

What I don't understand is for those that pre-ordered Madden through GameStop get an extended demo. Isn't Ian worried that people will love the extended demo so much that they will take the $5 from their pre-order of Madden and put it towards the purchase of another game???

His reasoning makes very little sense since pre-orders don't = sales....
