Madden 10 Demo Now Available

The first set of demos for Madden NFL 10 have gone live for the 360 and will later this afternoon for the PS3. The Gamestop preorder codes will unlock the five minute quarters demo for the 360 and PS3 and XBL Gold members also have access to the public one minute quarters demo. The extended one features the Super Bowl rematch of Cardinals vs Steelers with the short one offering the Cowboys vs Giants. Next Thursday will bring about the arrival of the public demo for the PS3 and XBL Silver members.

After playing the demo (or possibly both of them) leave your thoughts in the comments! I’ll look to get some videos up this evening and compare to the E3 build. The demos will likely have been from a post-E3 build though not from the final one meaning there may have been some slight improvements or changes made for release.

Well so far all I can say is WOW!!! This demo seems to be really great. I have loved it from the time I opened the demo. Some of the things that jump out to me are the cut schenes. I love the way they show the players riding the bikes on the sidelines, talking on the phone to the box, getting yeld at by the coaches, official measurement, etc….. There are just so many little things that I enjoy. I can't even begin to discuss it all. A few things that I dislike. I haven't seen the piles being pushed that much, no cheerleaders, the game seems a little too slow for me, and mostly. Does it seem to anyone else but me, THAT THE WORDS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN ARE GETTING SMALLER, and smaller??? I can't hardly read them anymore.

Im in australia and the demo isn't even available on xbox live marketplace. I'm a gold subscriber too. Does anyone know if the demo is only being released in the US / when it will be released internationally on xbox live?

I gotta say I'm impressed with the demo. I love the slower gameplay, I was almost in shock when I took a snap and it felt more realistic. Gang tackling is sweet, the referees are back on the field, the chain gang is even back! Wildcat anyone?! Romo's throwing motion is there, Manning finally has the right helmet/facemask, the players have realistic bodies and faces.

There really wasn't anything not to like about this demo, other than there was not enough time to score a TD! I gotta say, EA is doing a great job on this one.
