Madden 10 Video Blowout #1

Here is the first group of HD quality videos I’ve captured from Madden 10. In this batch you’ll find short clips against the CPU with the Dolphins @ Jets, Buccaneers @ Saints, and the halftime show from Rams @ Seahawks. There are also user vs user late 4th quarter videos as I attempt to make a comeback as the Texans against the Vikings and Jerkfacefave attempts a comeback late as the Titans against the Panthers in a defensive battle. Tonight I’ll add in some more videos against the CPU as well as some online play footage. All games are played on All-Pro difficulty with all else default settings.
I’ll be holding my extensive write-up on the game until Monday due to a review embargo but continue to leave random observations on Twitter. Continue on to check out the videos and leave your thoughts in the comments!

The game play looks decent and the complimentary seems a bit unenthusiastic compared to the 08's "radio guy". On a side note, is it just me or does the last 10 secs of the play-clock seem to give me such a great annoyance that I would now prefer to play Madden on mute?(Ok, so that was an overstatement)

Thanks for the vids, Pasta. I like that you played around with the uniform combos a bit, but that Vikes retro jersey with the modern pants was Terrible.
What the hell was up with your read in the Titans vs. Panthers game when you got picked in the redzone? The out route was wide open with the corner heat.

i'd like to see something in the rain, preferably late in the game to see if the uniforms get dirty and the field muddy .. and, a game in the snow to see how the field looks towards the end of the game with the snow accumulation

Is there gonna be an update to get rid of that damn black screen BS between plays and the sideline stuff? Cause I still see a lot of it in the videos, and its making me sick! Any info would be greatly appreciated Pasta!

Pasta Quick Question.
When you play someone online now does it show their play selection like on the Vikings vs Texans video?… Or were you playing offline and sitting by each other? If it now shows your play selection and his online I am not going to be too happy.

the game speed seems a little fastern than in the demo. the commentary is garbage that needs an overhaul badly.

I love how they say that they are working on presentation and how they studied 2K5 for months. This halftime show is a joke. 2K5 had The Swami give you play by play commentary and that was for XBOX and Playstation 2. EA did take one page out of 2K5's playbook and that was generic pro bowl helmets. Funny how Madden 2005 had individual team helmets in the pro bowl. Whats the matter couldn't work it in with all this PRO TACK Work that had to be done. Pure Bullshit.

i have a question for anyone who knows…in the wildcat formation how do you tell the difference if you are reading the play on defense because when you look at the jet sweep you did with Ricky at the end it has the orange arrow for Ronnie Brown like he is going to counter???
