NCAA is clearly the better game to me. The players also look much better. Take a look at the detail of the arms of the players in NCAA then look at Madden. Not even close. I can say that it's good enough but not really good. I like the presentation elements, especially the celebrations and chain gangs. The referee deliberations are overdone, especially for the goal line calls, and Tom Hammond still sucks. This years' version just seems somewhat cartoonish to me, especially with the running animations and some of the tackles and flops that runners do.
