NBA Live 10 Hustle Plays

EA Sports has provided a new video to IGN showcasing more of the “Hustle Plays” that were first mentioned in the previous gameplay enhancements trailer. This time though the video includes actual footage of the game as it is being played from the default gameplay camera. There are definitely some impressive examples of the hustle plays shown and they really stand out compared to what those players would’ve done in similar situations last year. Fast breaks also appear to have improved quite a bit. Continue on to take a look at the video and leave your thoughts in the comments!

NBA Live needs a whole new engine. Still look robotic and far from the natural feel and look of a basketball game. I love there Ideas but hate the gameplay. Also they need to step there game up cuz 2k superstar mode is sounding real nice right now

U can take it back to Sony's b-ball game THEN Live. 2K is last to the supper table with that one. Also, as a 2K fan, I have to say that 2K needs to step THEIR OWN game up and fix their laundry list of issues such as foot sliding, lack of control, ridiculously consistent steals from behind on fast breaks, horrible low post game, etc, yada, etc.
I actually like Live's "feel" better than 2K's. Their controller layout is much better plus they do a few things better than 2K. Live definitely needs gameplay and animation overhaul/updates/fixes but since they seem to be doing that, I may go the route of Live 10 ONLY this year where as last year I bought only 2K9 and the year before I bought both.

I mean, 2k looks like a real simulation of an NBA game, more than Live especially. Even the graphics, interactions, and animations are smoother and more natural. I became a 2k fan on the PS2 b/c it played more realistic, and thats around when Live became more cartoonish, and scripted. I always said that if 2k had some of Live's ideas, it would shut the whole argument down. But at least 2k's gameplay is on point. You'll almost never have a PERFECT game, but at least its close. NBA live is adding realtime cut-away shots instead of loaded up short movies of player reactions. 2k has had this for 2 yrs now. And hustle plays, REALLY?? They're mad late! C'mon now, the My Player Mode, the D-League, more animations, ratings spread, etc…2k is gonna be a better game again, PERIOD. And its still gonna play way more realistic than dog'on NBA Live. Nuff said

Ok, it "looks" better than last year, but lets not get carried away. I hope that they made this clip solely for the purpose of showing off the hustle play feature because EA is notorious for going over the top with a new feature. I don't want to see 5-10 hustle plays like those per game on a constant basis. Once in a while is fine so hopefully they've tuned it right. I'm a 2k guy but I'm really hoping Live makes a comeback and we get competition again in basketball.

why don't live use their espn logo, abc ,and TNT. If they could have the game of the week on abc or tnt or espn they would blow 2k out of the water. I like 2k because they make the game come alive without even having a real sports license. Live should have halftime shows wit stuart scott and a weekly wrap up with sportscenter. this is next gen if they don't do it 2kports will find a way to do it hopefully everyone understands what i'm saying. Tell EA Pasta. you are an insider. I'm looking forward to the day when I can enjoy the Live Series. these little things will take live into global domination Peace Out

Its funny how people think 2K is a sim game. Its like an arcade NBA Jams type game. I dont play Live or 2k. I watch people play 2k at tournaments and see them use one player like Lerbron and Kobe, flick the cross over stick a million time to they eventually blow pass the whole team and dunk on everybody…So much fun..I guess. Live is stiff but it feels more like a sim, no over the top dunks all game long or killer crossovers all game.

The crowd still looks fake they're missing the words "where amazing happens" on the bottom half of their goal also the cameras thats suppose to be behind the goal!! How do you have dwight howard on the cover and you dont mention blocking shots!! All nba players play 2k so that tells you which game is more realistic!! If fanboys stop buying this bullshit maybe they at least try to step this bullshit up!! 2k9 would murder live 10(you see new things everytime u play 2k)!! i hope live is good so all of these dick riders from 2k would shut the fuck up already..I'm tired of fucking douchebags coming in a LIVE POST saying that 2k is better all the time.It's annoying and most of the people who post shit probably has an elementary school student's I.Q.

I think the game looks much better than last year and ill probably download the Demo but I mean 2K has been the better products hands down in my opinion. What i like about this year's live is that the models look a bit thicker and more realistic but what i hate is that they haven't lost that robotic feel to their models. Its definitely worth a look but I can't get over the robotic movement the players have.
