Madden 10 Roster Update #2 Details

Here are the full details of the roster update released for Madden 10 earlier this morning. This is the second update since the game has been released and includes the high profile additions of Brett Favre to the Vikings and Michael Vick to the Eagles. At this point it is unknown if updates will continue each week through the preseason or if the next one will come after the rosters are finalized for the regular season. Continue on for a look at all the changes in this update.
Ratings Adjustments
Chris Simms – 70 OVR (was 68)….+2
Kyle Orton – 73 OVR (was 74)….-1
David Harris – 79 OVR (was 74)….+5
Aaron Brown – 67 OVR (was 64)…+3
Haloti Ngata – 92 OVR (was 90)…+2
Kelly Gregg – 83 OVR (was 77)…+6…(Gregg recently named Top 10 Overall DT in NFL according to Scouts Inc. – #8 overall.)
Darren Sproles – 83 OVR (was 85)….-2
Leon Washington – 80 OVR (was 79)….+1
Ryan Harris – 85 OVR (was 74)…+11…severely underrated OL, Denver actually ranked as #3 and #1 against the run and pass.
Ben Hamilton – 85 OVR (was 81)…+4…also a big part of that #3 overall Denver OL in 2008
Ryan Clady – 91 OVR (was 90)…+1…see above…some already call him #1 LT in NFL

how do they always miss the SEAHAWKS!!!!!! took me 30 seconds to realise that justin grifftih is wearing 33 not 36 and after his 1st day of practice with the team ken lucas changed from 29 to 31 also they got josh wilsons equipment all wrong again! he wears a white band around each elbow and he wears train track white gloves not white sleeves no grloves and black wrist bands, watch a game its not hard to pick it up!

I play madden on 360 since the update seems like the game doesn't play the same!!! Am I the only person experiencing this?!?!? No matter what team my recievers can't catch I get no pressure I can't stop the run no matter what there's countless broken tackles and the speed disparity seems to be immense now!!! Whats going on!?!?!?!?!

Useless changes for my current franchise. Why doesn't EA let you create a player in Franchise mode so I can add Favre & Vick without having to start a new franchise?

Greg Peterson DT was cut from the Bucs 2 weeks ago, still on the roster. Dre Moore, rookie from last year should take his spot. Plus, kinda of a roster issue, Raheem Morris is listed as 45 years old. Should be 32.

HaHa! Found him. Oddly, Kellen Davis is sitting there just chillin in the free agent pool in Madden 10 this year. I wonder if he called the Bears front office to make sure his contract that is good till 2011 wasn't a mistake. Too funny EA! Must be some sort of inside joke, right?

They keep messing up the Phins O-Line. First no Shawn Murphy, now there's no Donald Thomas. Those two are both fighting for the starting RG spot and the loser will still likely be a top backup. Joe Berger was added instead? That's hilarious! He'll never even play! The next update needs to have BOTH Donald Thomas AND Shawn Murphy. Oh, and Vontae Davis is WAAAY too light-skinned in this game. He looks like Jason Taylor. Have they actually ever seen Vontae? I'm sure they have because his picture is in the game. I just don't understand these skin tones on the players sometimes.

Great to see the Broncos offensive line get a much needed boost…..they were the best team in the NFL in terms of protecting the passer and they also blocked for average running backs and made them look good.

I feel like Devin Hester should be rated higher. He’s the clear cut #1 option for the Bears but his rating is only 1 point higher then the next guy. Also why are the Pats DB’s so slow? Jonathan Wilhite and Terrance Wheatly had Speed icons on last years game and now their Speed’s aren’t even 90. Darius Butler was 1 of the Fastest Players in the Draft and he’s probably the slowest CB on the team.

the redskins cut roydell williams 2 weeks ago; mike williams (RT) is not even in the game, malcolm kelly should be just bareley higher than devin thomas overall all but only as durable as balsa wood (low inj and toughness ratings) also reggie bushs' catching and main reciever stats are as good as marcus colston, so needs to be fixed also randel el is alot…A LOT… faster than thomas an mitchell, and while im on speed 75 for london fletcher? he ran westbrook down from behind multiple times…either he needs to be faster or westbrook needs to be a lot slower…

Why in god's name did they add C Joe Berger and RG Shawn Murphy, then REMOVE RG Donald Thomas?! Thomas is the effin start for christ's sake! Doesn't really make sense to me. Hopefully he'll be back in in the next roster update, with Miami cutting TE Ernest Wilford, CB Eric Green, and DT Joe Cohen. And trading RG Andy Alleman to the Chiefs.
