Despite the numerous blogs and previews that have come out for NBA Live 10 recently there is still a lot to learn about the game. That remains the case even with the release of the official fact sheet. Some of the features have not been revealed and are apparently being saved for discussion over the next six weeks until release. The fact sheet does however provide a good overview of the general improvements made and overall theme of the game this year.

NBA LIVE is back with the one purpose: To deliver an authentic basketball experience, all season long. From the in-game presentation and enhanced user control to the one of a kind Dynamic DNA and revolutionary Dynamic Season, NBA LIVE 10 is re-writing the book on basketball simulation videogames.

It's amazing and makes u wonder how many broken products of EA live does it take for people to get it through their skulls. Read some of the blogs. They rebuilt all player models from the ground up (read "amazing" blog), and they've addressed a ton of their game play issues. Reading is fundamental my friend, and their are videos if you have a hard time concentrating.

Eh, was frustrated with Pasta and his Madden 10 man crush. It's one thing to post articles on hypothetical scenarios or contemplating the effect of personnel moves, but when other sports and games (NBA LIve, 2K, NHL 2K) release information and it goes by the way side…it's frustrating. I'm primarily on operation sports now (even donated $20 to their site), but this place is a little more engaging in terms of conversation (when you're not talking to fan boys).

It is the job of these departments to sell their product. thats simple advertising, to get the consumer interested in a product and convince them they have what it is you need. Thats ADVERTISING and thats whats done for EVERY product. It's the reason when you were a kid you felt unstoppable in a pair of Jordans, it's the reason as a kid you asked mommy for fruity pebbles rather than shredded wheat. We as consumers purchase with our eyes first, this is where marketing and advertising comes in. this is why most of us don't require to know how something works.

Seriously, there is a demo released each year for each of these basketball games. All the clever marketing "gimmicks" that you claim EA employs doesn't negate this fact. Did it ever occur to you that some people just prefer Live to 2k.
You prefer 2k, great, but that's you. But like most 2k fanboys, you choose to live in the past. 2k "was" once the dominant basketball game but in usual 2k fashion they fail to improve upon there game. 2k basketball is essentially the same game as 2k7, and 2k8 and 2k9. Sure they may add a couple of new annimations, but the game is stale. 2k would be better off just giving you fanboys a roster update to 2k9 and call it a day.
You 2k fanboys really need to understand that 2k is the shady ones in this equation. They refuse to give details on there game til the last minute, they hold back demos, and they barely support their products after launch( too few roster updates).

I stoped buying live after 07 on the 360 with that terrible jumpshot. 2k might not have the greatest graphics but the gameplay is outstanding.

nba live is like that female u had that always cheated on u but said she was gonna change haha every time same BS features or “enhancements” they create smh. All star weekend on Live tells u alot about there series…its been the same since 2005 nothins changed on it! for me NBA2k is always the safe bet cus u know 2 expect greatness they dont need redemption yrs or BIG LEAPS in gameplay. Theyve never been on rock bottom like LIVE 06-09.

It is no secret that Live 07 was crap and also that it was the first real installment of the series on next gen. Its 2010 now so how bout you get current and look how far the series has come in 3 years.

But for the real basketball video gamer, we demand much more than 2k's recycled hasbeens. Furthermore are you fogetting that 2k is absolutely horrid when it comes to roster updates. It takes them forever to update a trade and you will be lucky if you have two roster updates for the whole season, but of course none of that matters to you since only the same recycled gameplay matters to you. no matter how much features you may read and hype trailers you watch, it all comes down to basic gameplay.And 2K10 will once again be KING OF BASKETBALL GAMES.Watch the gameplay video on GAMERSYDE…believe what your eyes tell you and don't get fooled by features that don't make this game(LIVE10) any better.What EASPORTS should do is BUILT A NEW GAME FROM SCRATCH.This is their only hope…They succeded by doing so for FIFA.FIFA07 was a completely new game with new graphic engine and animations.It was crap, but it was just the start of a 3 year effort to become the KING OF FOOTBALL(SOCCER) GAMES.

All EA has to do is use their espn and abc license and they would win some of the 2k fans over. Halftime show with stuart scott and weekly wrap up show and games of the week on ABC thats the only thing that EA has over 2k UTILIZE IT!!!!!!! If 2k still had the ESPN license Live would've been shut down completely because 2K would have Worked that license. I would want to one day see live get to where they used to be however until that day comes 2K still is great.
