For example, I play 15 minute quarters using the 25 second accelerated clock, so each play happens quickly after the huddle breaks, so you skip all the wasted time in between. I get realistic play numbers and stats using this method. Not everone uses it, because you can adjust quarter length without the accelerated clock as well to get realistic stats.
