- The Art Designer for Madden 10 mentioned in a tweet that the 49ers helmet color is being fixed in an update coming soon. Now that the Seahawks alternate lime green jersey is looking like a reality the indications are that will be added to the game as well as the AFL legacy uniforms. No specification on how this would be done yet whether that be through a patch, free DLC, or roster update.
- TeamXbox takes an extensive look at the NHL Shop in NHL 10. Similar to the Madden Shop and DLC offered in NCAA Football it will provide boosts based on equipment that can be purchased. Most disheartening is that it appears those boosts will be allowed for the EASHL.
- Operation Sports has two different previews for NBA 2K10. You can check out the more traditional style of preview here or read through extensive detailed impressions here.
- The NBA Live 10 demo will be out for the 360 and PS3 on Thursday September 10th. It is expected to be the same demo that was previewed from being the Magic vs Lakers in two quarters at four minutes each.
- The FIFA 10 demo will be out for the 360 and PS3 on Thursday September 17th. Six teams will be playable and the demo will include the ability to save and upload video highlights.

the seahawks unis are so crazy its almost unbelievable. i love it.

I read your site everyday and always enjoy the inside info. What I do not enjoy is the constant reminders about the f'n Seattle Seahawks. We get it, your a huge fan. When operating a website you should try and hide your biast remarks so that you may give people the best thought out information. Who gives a damn if the Seahawks have lime green jerseys. They have never won anything! I'm sorry but it just gets annoying. I love your site, and will continue to read it but trust me people get tired of hearing about the Seahawks in every other madden post.

Im going to stick up for Pasta a little here. Yes we all know Pasta loves the Seahawks but there has been alot of Seahawks news related to Madden. One of the first screens ever released was Hasselback and there was talk of the neon gloves….then Housh was gettin salty over his Madden ratings…..now the jersey thing which is legit Madden related news. I am a Cowboys fan and I dont really follow the Seahawks (just found out the roof cant close at the Seahawks staduim even though it looks retractable), but at I am on here for Madden related stuff and NCAA related stuff. It does not bother me that Pasta is a Homer and blogs about the Seahawks alot….its a BLOG not CNN or FOX , not an official news site dude. Also, instead of trying to embarass him and call him out in the main blog spot there is an option to send a message to him directly. just my 2 cents.

First of all whos site is this? Its up to him what he puts on it or doesnt. Dont read it if you dont like it. I think it is awsome that the Seahawks are going to add some new jerseys. I LOVE the alternate jerseys and think that it will be fun to see them including the AFL legacy uniforms. And I am getting really sick and tired of hearing people say things like "Your team hasnt won anything?" I hate to tell everyone this but only one season matters and that is the one going on right now (or about to start right now). So congrats on all the Lombardis your team has won but they dont mean anything at all. LOL, you say it like winning one gives that team super powers or they get to start out the season with extra wins or something. That is just silly.

how does the london/international games work with madden? i don't play with the pats of the bucs, so i'm not sure if using them for a franchise actually takes you to wembley. i'll have to check. i don't remember wembley being a stadium option.

As much as I actually love Madden 10, I hope the patches REALLY go hard at fixing the issues other than the 49er helmet issue, which I really haven't noticed, but then again, I don't really care about the Niners…although Mike Singletary has me intrigued as to when he will next drop his pants – Ha. On the real, I hope he whips those cats into shape. I like his style. No homo…
The Live 10 demo – I am excited; more excited about that demo than 2K's cuz I KNOW 2K is going to bring it and I've read all the previews and hands-ons. It's just a matter of whether they fixed their gameplay issues or not so the demo will tell the tale, for the most part…
Fifa 10 – Kinda excited about that demo after seeing a vid. I liked playing last year's demo but I am NOT a soccer fan although I did buy a Fifa a looong time ago.
Sidebar – PSN is NOT updated…yet. Not even the EU store which would have updated hours ago. It's about 9:35pEST there (It's 4:35EST where I am). This is odd but the reason I speak on this is because I want the NHL 10 demo. Not to mention, where is the new NCAA 10 patch for the PS3?????
Bout to see if FN4 has at least been patched since the DLC is not on the PSN yet. Peazzz

And JUST like that, the EU PSN store is updated with the NHL 10 demo, as well as the FN4 DLCs. There is not an actual patch for FN4 but there is a separate DLC from the new fighters DLC. Might as well grab this FEAR 2 DLC demo while I'm at it. Peazzzz

Through various discussions with the devs specifically Phil Frazier. I tweeted him that story about the Seahawks jerseys and his reply was "thats all we need". At E3 he told me the NFL had them take it out but if/when they were revealed they would be able to add them back into the game. The AFL jerseys were mentioned in a story by The Sports Business Journal first and since then they've hinted at adding them in also.

that sporting business journal article says the afl unis 'will be in madden' and the last i read from ea on a forum they said 'we know this is important to you and will try to get it out.'

Hmmm. I certainly hope that is the case, since the white jerseys would add so much to the presentation. But that Sports Business Journal blurb makes no mention of all (home and away) unis being in Madden. It just says AFL unis will be in, and they are, the home jerseys. And frankly, I have no faith in EA delivering something it says it "hopes'' to get in. They also hopes to get in CPU sliders last year via downloadable content and that never happened.

The article for the NHL Shop also said you can earn everything by completing various tasks in the game. At least that's better than pay only and I wonder if EA had add that in there after Madden's boosts got so much criticism.
Either way, it would be in everyone's best interest to at least allow for earning them through playing the game.

Pasta I read the extensive preview article about 2K10 and it's going to be the game I purchase. The additions they made to the "Association" mode are insane. EA doesn't seem to get how to make a good franchise mode for their Live series. Maybe they made some changes this year but from what I read 2K put a lot of time into making a truly complete experience, even better than Madden's franchise. That's just my opinion.

I've mentioned this before but I don't post up "teaser" trailers for any game unless its the first piece of media for the game. They are empty videos that don't really have any value.

yea but that trailer was the first piece of media for NBA 2k10. the draft combine videos don't count. the gamespot kobe trailer is the first actual gameplay trailer for nba 2k10. i remember you posted atleast 4 or 5 videos of nba live when it first released gameplay videos. its only fair if 2k gets the same treatment.

and by the way guys, after reading that extensive detailed preview of NBA 2k10 at OS. EA IS SO SCREWED!! 2k10 is doing everything EA had announced as features so much better than them. They are adding features to current features and are even focusing on little things like finger straps and undershirts. and how about dynamic commentary? this is just incredible. say hello to the now greatest NBA video game ever created NBA 2k10!!! get ready, cuz its going down on october 6th. are you for real? im not a fanboy. i compared both games' info so far and after reading that OS preview and Q&A, it is clear that the team at 2k has basically built on everything Live was bragging about. And guess what? 2k did all that without single ad or marketing scheme! they have not even madea site for NBA 2k10 yet. That proves that all EA is is a marketing machine. they put out a bunch of info like 3 months before a game comes out and then the competitor beats them out every year anyway! thats the truth, it doesn't matter what side you are coming from. live or 2k. the truth is that after reading that preview every sentence proves that nba 2k10 will dominate live in sales and reviews for the 8th straight year.

yea and thats whats funny. because EA spends all this money on marketing and makes a shit game. Meanwhile 2k puts their money where it matters and hires developers who live and breathe NBA basketball. EA spends millions to make bullshit ads and gimmicky features. 2k works on current features and makes them even better. I read all the EA blogs so far. They had blogs saying that rebounds and blocks were features. are you fucking serious?? making a blog like that is an insult to the game of basketball.
Its not just that guy's opinion. Go and ask anyone who watches a lot of basketball and knows what its like. and i guarantee you they will pick 2k over live by a landslide. EA is still arcade ball, while 2k is the closest you get to actually playing or watching it on ESPN.
