yup, former NBA player/former announcer. I'll take that over an NBA never-was any day. So since both games are using a bit of creative license I think Live clearly made the most realistic choice. Clark Kellogg.....LOL!

What are the chances that live will really overtake 2k basketball this year even if they had barney himself doing the commentry jonathan?

For me I don't really care who claims to be number one, it's of a matter of which game leaves me more satisfied.




Thats why I don't care what the reviews say, thats just another persons opinion about the game and has no barring on wether or not some one else will like it. I played both games and it was the first time I bought live in quite a few years and while both of them had problems 2k9 was better in regard to gameplay (live had better presentation). But with Live a felt like they had somethings under the hood and if they got the right people together the game could really be something special (gameplay wise and presentation). I think Lives system of updates is light years ahead of 2K. You were actually able to see what was changed in an update in Live09. The funny thing is with 2K there was talks of extra animations being added but I NEVER noticed any of them (doesn't mean they weren't there) but I'd like some one to post video of what the changes were. So for me I feel like where 2k makes me feel abandoned Live lets me know exactly whats going on in an update and thats huge.





If you like 2k get 2k if you like live get live it's as simple as that. If we'reluckybothgameswillbesolidandmorerefinedandauthenticthisyear.

The animations and the player models are horrible. Shaq looks like he's about 220 lbs. Rondo looks like a crackhead litterally.

Big jump from 09. Watching it is almost like a real game with the player movement and sig-shots. Lebron moves like he really does.

Initial impression. That Euro 2 Step = Fail, otherwise pretty nice. The Derick Rose euro 2 step looked awesome in an early vid. Pretty fluid gameplay. Will watch a few more times.

You dont need to watch a few more times. The gamply still dont have that fluid feel to me for some reason. Atleast they did fix rebounding but kudos for something that should have been done a long time ago. They have basically added things 2k series already have in there game. I want to be blown out the water like madden did this year when i played the game.Cause lets face it last years live was terrible, other than live dna.

Still don't think many of the blocks look natural and the commentary was obviously lacking. Its hard to analyze much more than that.

Noticed some new commentary, but will be more interested in the dynamic commentary that the developers have been talking about. The Pierce and James shot did look real spot on. I'm just hoping they can expand on the hustle plays next year with players diving out of bounds or into the stands.

Notice the extended cheers for the home crowd, even on the rebounds.

Players don't stop to receive passes anymore thank god. Kick out passes are nice and realistic. Sig shots are sick. The KG dunk was nice.

The dev team can hold their heads high on this one.

Your facts are always way off and EA already tried to buy 2k and that fell through. 2k just has such a solid foundation to build from while Live is trying to rebuild from there house of cards.
