The season premiere of Fringe airs tonight at 9pm on Fox. The first season I was immediately hooked on the show and it improved and really hit a groove as the season went on. It has a nice balance of overriding mystery and mythology while keeping itself inviting to people who haven’t followed it from the start.

For those who may not have watched through the first season I won’t go into the twist at the end but that will definitely be the focus of this season as the characters react to what it all means for them on a personal level and what it means for the overriding battle they are continuing to fight.

The show has moved to the ultra competitive Thursday night at 9 time slot which is a sign of confidence from Fox. It pulls in the lucrative 18-49 demo and the network has stated it doesn’t need tremendous ratings for the show to be a considered a success. Tomorrow morning I’ll take a look at the ratings for the premiere and post my thoughts on the show.

Pasta I have never seen this show before but I have seen promotions. Was the 1st season any good in your humble opinion? You also said there was a twist ending without giving it away was it a shocker or did you see it coming? i'm a fan of LOST so i kind of big into si-fi

Loved the first season. Was good from the start, I dug the premiere even though some people didn't think it started very strong. But mid-season to the end was awesome. Mystery of the week type thing with a background overriding bigger mystery. The end was a twist, one that could've been a theory but there were other possibilities to explain what was going on too.
